Several years ago I moved to the area and was worried about finding a good dentist. I was soon in immediate need of a root canal and I ended up getting a GREAT Dentist. Long story short, I had some old work that was failing and over the last two years Dr. Wong and his staff have gone above and beyond to help me with appointments and insurance and getting everything done in a quick, efficient manner. I was then lucky to win the Invisalign sweepstakes. Dr. Wong had been mentioning it would be a good thing as my teeth were heading in some challenging angles. After the initial pictures and Invisalign treatment planning, I was amazed at the video he showed me and what it would do to my teeth. More than that, what it would do to my whole face. I had no idea how sunken my cheeks were just because my teeth were tilting in. My whole face feels like it has changed and I smile bigger and more often, no longer hiding. Now, after 14 months I am done with my Invisalign treatment and have to say, if you are even thinking about it a little, go see Dr. Wong. It doesnt matter if you need a little straightening or a miracle, he can help. The best part about my appointments to get new trays, or just check ins for the treatment was his joy in how his patients were doing. He loves his work, he loves helping people get their smiles back, and to stop hiding behind their hands. As a bonus, his staff is just as wonderful. Ever since my first appointment, I am greeted by name when I walk in the door. I hear everyone who walks in the door be greeted by name if possible, but always with a sincere care and interest. He takes times to listen to his patients, know what their concerns are, and finds the best option for them.

When you arrive at Beaverton Tendercare you know you are stepping into a place thats safe and professional; you know youre going to walk out of there better than when you came in. Warmth, empathy, extreme professionalism and yet so comfortable to be with. They take a patients anxiety very seriously so I was treated with great compassion and concern. Everyone I had contact with at the office seemed passionate about their work and its obvious how much Dr. Wong loves dentistry and helping his patients. Also, the facility is beautiful and Im so comfortable and relaxed there, despite my anxiety disorder. I dont have dental insurance but they are very accommodating, very helpful and are working with me so that I can get desperately needed - and overdue - dental care. I needed an antibiotic for an abscess but Im extremely sensitive and even allergic to several kinds. When I called in to talk to Dr. Wong to tell him about the reaction I was having to my prescription, he immediately called up a colleague whos a specialist and confered about a good alternative. I heard back from him within fifteen minutes and had my new prescription in my hands within thirty. Dr. Wong has gone out of his way to assist me more than once, for which I am so, so grateful. Dr. Lennie Wong, a highly competent practitioner (and darn sweet man), is my dream dentist. I have a great deal of dental work left to do and I look forward to continuing  working with him. Im confident that together well get my smile healthy and beautiful.

I’m a graphic designer and an interesting quote I ran across once went like this: “your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, how you leave others feeling after an experience with you becomes your trademark.” Going by this then my logo used to be a pretty silly one. Before coming to Dr. Wong to straighten my teeth my smile used to be really crowded, especially in the front where it’s most visible, so I would rarely smile with my teeth showing. I was definitely self conscious of the way they looked anytime I smiled, so I wouldn’t show them often. I wanted my smile to be remembered, and not for how funny it looked, that’s when I decided to get braces. To get the smile I wanted I trusted Dr. Wong, who suggested I go the Invisalign route over conventional braces which would be cheaper and more efficient. After taking a few impressions he was even able to show me a virtual model of my teeth after each set of aligners through to the end. What comforted me about having Dr. Wong work on something so important to me is the pride and care he takes in his work, much like myself. I could tell just by the way he talked about my teeth that it’s not just a job for him, it’s a passion. There’s nobody I would trust more with my dental work than Dr. Wong and his team at Tender Care. The team there is full of the most amazing people.

I needed to find a new dentist after moving here from Colorado, and I was nervous because it seemed like a challenging task. I didnt want to trust just anyone with my pearly whites! After doing some research I decided on Beaverton Tendercare because I read the bios of the dentists on their website, and was impressed with their passion and qualifications. I also was impressed, and even suprised by, their commitment to sustainability. When you go in to have your teeth cleaned, they use a cloth bib instead of a paper one. I had never recognized how wasteful one teeth cleaning could be, and I admire their efforts in taking care of our earth. Overall it was a great experience. From the receptionist, to the hygenist, to the dentist, everyone was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The cherry on top is that they give a free hydroflask to first time patients, and that thing will keep your coffee hot for an ungodly amount of time. Im going back soon for my six month checkup, and I know Ill be well taken care of.

I have been going to Dr. Wong for my dental care for a long time. When I came to the clinic, I was extremely afraid of dentists but Dr. Wong put me at ease and I have to say he is the first dentist I ever had who could give a shot with minimal discomfort (no pain). Since I had crooked teeth for my whole life, when there was an opportunity to get invisalign I jumped on it. I had some unique problems because not only were my teeth very crooked, but I had lost many of them throughout my lifetime. Dr. Wong was able to work with me and I became a "test" subject for the invisalign procedure so that more people with my kinds of dental issues can have hope that one day they can have straight teeth and a nice smile. I now have straight teeth and I can smile with confidence. I would recommend Dr. Wong to anyone who wants to change your teeth and change your life!

Dr. Wong and his staff are the best ever! Ive always had a difficult time finding a great dentist. Usually its problems with the front office staff making billing errors, etc. When I met Dr. Wong I knew I wanted him to be my dentist for life. His office is very bright warm, well run and the staff is awesome, especially Catharine my hygienist! Dr. Wong himself is so smart, nice and friendly. Most importantly, he cares about the patient and has the hands and expertise to do an excellent job. I remember one time he did a crown for me and said, "sorry, its taking a few more minutes because I want it to be absolutely perfect." Just what you want and need to hear from someone to whom you entrust your smile. Keep up the great job, Beaverton Tendercare! Love you all :)
