Suffice it to say, few would say that they had a fantastic experience at the dentists office... but I am pleased to say that I did! Having relocated to the Beaverton area within the past seven months, I visited Paradigm Dental yesterday for the first time for a cleaning and examination. I enjoyed a Sonicare cleaning which allowed for minimized scraping- something we can all agree is most definitely welcomed. X-rays revealed that I had developed two cavities- one on each side of my mouth- and a previous filling which needed attention. Dr. Brian Rust explained, in detail, what and why they needed to be addressed, and could accommodate me the next day if I was so inclined. During my appointment this morning for the aforementioned issues, I could not have been more impressed. To begin, the facilities are truly first rate and state-of-the-art. I was amazed at what has changed and improved in just the 14 months since my last visit to a dental office. Next, Dr. Brian Rust was professional, respectful and courteous on every level. What stood out was his willingness to walk me through the process of what was being done, and would further explain things when called upon to do so. He really knows his craft. Throughout the visit I experienced zero pain and was completely at ease. I think it fair that I also disclose that the dental bar had been set quite high many years ago as my uncle was a dentist, and had been mine well into adulthood. Dr. Brians services rivaled his, and I now feel like Ive found my permanent dentist. One final thought: the staff at Paradigm was truly wonderful. All were courteous and very professional- truly, a great experience from start to finish. This office comes highly recommended and gets high marks. Thanks guys! Greg D Beaverton, OR

I have been a patient of Douglas Rust for over 20 years. Dr. Rust and his staff have always stayed on top of the latest and best practices in dentistry. They are professional and have put a special emphasis on making sure you are comfortable during any of your procedures. They are very thorough and take the time to explain what they are going to do and why you need to do it. At my recent visit for two cavities, they introduced me to their new laser technology for fillings. Dr Rusts assistant explained the new procedure and answered all my questions. When the doctor arrived he again made sure I was comfortable and they offered me the conventional method of numbing shots and drilling, if I was more comfortable with that. I opted for the new technology. The laser was quick and painless. No one enjoys the shots to numb the area prior to drilling and this procedure does not require them. You dont have to hear that infamous drilling noise that puts you on edge either. You leave the office feeling like you were never there. If you want to have a pain free filling using the latest in dental technology, with proven professionals who greet you with a genuine smile, have all your insurance matters and appointments taken care of quickly and efficiently, then Paradigm Dental of Beaverton should be your dentist. I have already told several people about the laser treatment and my pain free visit. I love the dental technology of the future and you will too!

I went to Paradigm Dental before Dr. Brian and his Dad took over. I broke my bridge. So I called the office of my prior Dentist. I talked to someone who said the practice was being sold and could I call back after the holidays. I was upset and looked into a new dentist. Dr. Brian and his Dad took over the office and called me to have me come look at the bridge. He took a lot of pictures and we talked. I was overwhelmed. I had paid all this money for a bridge and it was less than a year old by 2 days. Dr. Brian and his Dad said they would fix my prior Dentist work. He worked with her on the amount but it was not cost to me. I started crying at his kindness and felt like someone was looking out for me. We did the work and I was not an easy patient. I broke the temporary bridge twice. During this time of almost 4 hour appointments I got to know and TRUST and love Dr. Brian. Since then my bridge now matches the color of the other teeth. The prior one was NEON white you could see exactly where the bridge was done. You cannot now. This bridge fits better. My daughter has now had her teeth cleaned with Julia and a chip fixed. I had my teeth clean last Monday and now am working on getting a Night mouth guard to protect all my dental work! Dr. Brian you are amazing and I wanted everyone to know!

I highly recommend Paradigm Dental! From the front office staff, to the hygienist, to Dr. Rust (basically all employees you come in to contact with) everyone is professional, friendly, and the office makes you feel at home. Its nice to go in to an office where they remember your name and you dont have to sit in a lobby with 20 other people (there might be one other person.) Another plus is that they can almost do everything right there in their office. There is no need to run around town getting consultations and appointments with specialty dentists. Who has time for that? They also have the latest dental equipment right there! Did I mention that I live in SE Portland and still drive to Beaverton for my dental needs? I definitely recommend Paradigm!

I recently had to switch dentists due to my insurance changing. Its always a little hard to change dentists, as I loved my last one. When I found Paradigm Dental, I was incredibly happy to find a great dentist in Dr. Rust. This place treated me well, made me relaxed, and is very helpful in making sure that not only are my dental problems fixed, but helped me develop a plan to avoid having further cavities in the future. Also, in getting my cavities filled, I think this was the most painless experience I have ever had, from setting the appointment to the actual drilling. During a larger fill, they even lent me headphones to relax during the filling. I would heartily recommend Dr. Rust and Paradigm Dental.

My most recent visit was for my normal 6 month cleaning. Charlie is always friendly as she checks my health record and gets everything set up. Julia does a super job with the cleanings. My teeth feel great when she is done. She also takes time to answer questions in detail. Dr. Rust came in and checked everything out along. My previous appointment was to replace a crown that had broken over the weekend. Dr. Rust and his assistant were efficient and yet took time to talk to me about things in general and specifics of what had happened with the broken crown. Since I am a bit of a coward about the dentist, I truly appreciate their caring attitude. They continual check to insure I am not in pain.
