The first time I went in there, the nurse pract. saw us. She spent most of the time with us asking me a bunch of questions about my daughter. She would tell my daughter that she was going to check her ear, and her mouth to let her know what was going to happen and make sure she was comfortable but when it came time to check her vagina, she said nothing, not even to me that she was going to do that. She just took my daughters pants off and started looking at her. My daughter is 2.5 yrs and knows how she is and isnt supposed to be touched by someone and was VERY uncomfortable while this was going on as was I. Dr. Thomas finally came in to say hello, read over the notes and said everything looked fine. He spent less than 5 min with us and this was the very first time I was seeing him. Very unprofessional! The second time I went in my daughter had what looked like hand foot and mouth infection on her foot. It was spreading and it looked like something to worry about (and I dont run to the doctor for every little thing). She walked in, said that it was a rash (yes! thats why I brought her in) and then told me that there is nothing they can do. I just got a bill today from their office that they charged 123.00!!!! to my insurance. They cant explain why its so expensive and they refuse to tell me how much it would cost to pay cash because they say that is insurance fraud. I didnt feel that the service was any good. I was told that this office is great for people who dont vaccinate and in the 5 min that Dr. Thomas was with me, he mentioned vaccinating 3 or 4 times even though I was clear that I dont do it. I thought the office in general was snobby and I dont care to pay over 100 dollars for 5 min!

We have had our kids mystery medical issues looked into in Omaha and Sacramento. Tons of genetic testing and food journals and weekly appointments... I was so overwhelmed. We came in to meet Dr Olson at Integrative Health about a month after we moved to Vancouver Wa (Portland). Just by looking at the previous genetic testing she was able to recognize what was causing my kids to be Failure to thrive. My oldest is 8 years old- I went 8 years of chaos and testing, and in 20 minutes she had an answer and confirmed it with a blood test. The whole staff was patient with this tired mama and her 3 boys. They were so supportive. I gave up qualifying for free state health care bc we didnt want to lose being apart of this amazing medical team. I also drive almost 50 minutes in traffic from east vancouver to west portland just to be seen here! They are worth it for sure.

Dr. Thomas is obviously a very busy Doctor. I know a lot of people who take their kids there and love him. What I love about him and his office is the way they integrate the medical doctor practice with natural medicine and nutrition. It is a very practical approach. Dr. Thomas is very well researched practitioner, and is up to date on all the latest integrative approaches of getting to the root causes of diseases and behavior issues. He blends that nicely with pharmaceutical medicine, when it is needed. Perhaps what I love most about his team is their ability to listen to me as a parent. If you have done your own research, he will listen to your concerns. If you have not done research, prepare to be educated. A great practice for families who want a little more than your typical medical practice.

I have very mixed feelings about Dr. Thomas, I like his philosophy and his approach to pediatrics. I love the nurses and staff at his office. BUT he never remembers us from visit to visit, even if we are at a follow up for something that was just a week prior. He doesnt even bother to review the chart and familiarize himself with our situation before coming into the exam room. He just barges in and introduces himself to us - every single time - as if he has never met us. I have decided that this is something I am not going to overlook. If he cant be bothered to look over my daughters chart and do a few minutes of prep before walking in the exam room, I no longer want her to be a patient. The best thing about him is his PA, Mallory. She is the best and we will miss her.

My son caught Mono and Strep over the weekend and Dr. Thomas was able to fit us in without an appointment. He was so fantastic with my terrified son. He had a constant smile and was so positive and funny. He kept things light and tried to get to know my son, which helped both my son and I to feel at ease even though we both were pretty worried what the labs would reveal. Oh and the tests, he took labs and we got the results within 15 minutes! I found out later that my son had the largest, most swollen tonsils that Dr. Thomas had ever seen! He set us up with antibiotics and some of his own pediatric immune builder, my son was feeling me ch better in no time. He is seriously the best pediatrician I have ever even heard of!!!!! Thank you tremendously, Dr. Thomas!!!!

Dr Thomas and staff have gone ABOVE and BEYOND for our family. They have listen to my new parent concerns, always ask me if I have additional questions or need anything else. They never make my fears of decision seem silly or undervalued. I wouldnt take my daughter anywhere else. They also offer after hours Urgent care so Im not stuck sitting in an ER for hours with an infant. Additional there office has a sick waiting room and a well child waiting room!! They are always looking for ways to keep healthy kids healthy! I LOVE IT!

Weve been with Dr. Thomas for several years now and he is amazing. He uses both natural medicine and modern medicine to give you healthy options for caring for your child. Antibiotics arent always necessary and he knows when to avoid them and when to prescribe them. My kids are extremely healthy and I believe its because his advice is sound and he listens to a parents concerns and personal choices to blend the perfect care for each child.

We are not even patients of Dr. Thomas, but we ordered his book, The Vaccine Friendly Plan. My husband and I had a question regarding our new baby and the vaccine schedule we are following in the book, and Ashley who works for Dr. Thomas was so friendly and helpful! If only we lived in Oregon...

Our whole family likes Dr Thomas, he actually listens to your concerns and does a great job working with you. He is also obviously a warm and child loving person. When we have had call backs, he handled them personally, so we didnt get charged again. The nurses are great as well.
