A three star? Well, first off, they are great with kids. So dont be worried, its some of the business practices with the staff. First off, once you schedule an appointment, theyll call you two days out to remind you (not a big deal) then theyll call you one day out, then theyll text you, and email you, and call again. Its almost annoying. Im a big boy, Ill get my kids to their appointments. At the office, theyll take care of the kids with movies, make sure theyre comfortable, praise them for being kids, say theyre super, talk in baby voices to my 12 and 7 year old, kind of over board, but understandable. After the cleaning, they wanted to discuss treatment plans to fix the kids teeth which is understandable. Theyll present what the insurance will pay and what youll pay and in one on visit it was less than they thought so awesome! But they wanted me to sign a treatment plan when I need to think about it. They said to sign acknowledging that Ive been given the treatment plan, but no where on the form did it say that I acknowledge, all the treatment plan was saying is I agree to pay upfront, make this deposit to scheduling, missing payments, but nothing about me acknowledging they briefed me on the plan. I thought this was odd and I didnt sign it. I will say, it was a nice touch for Jessie Banks to call me personally, even though Ive been called twice before by her staff, and it was also nice that she actually came to see my kids during the cleaning. She was very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. It is, however, that one of the technicians didnt want me to photograph the cleaning so I could show my daughter (who wanted to see the pictures) afterwards. Kind of made the whole visit awkward. Overall, Jessie Banks is great. I would get a second opinion before you jump into paying a lot of money for dental work on baby teeth.

I do not have one bad thing to say about my experience at Kitsap Kids Dentistry. My son is 1 and I took him today for his first appointment with a DDS. I am incredibly critical of anyone that has anything to do with my sons healthcare and this office did not disappoint me. Walking in the office is incredibly inviting for children... separate room for the kids to hang out and wait for the appointment. Providing lots of distraction for any kid that may have any apprehension about being at the Dentists office, video games, TV, toys...etc.. The back office was just as pleasing, clean, orderly and kid friendly. The dental assistants I met were fabulous... very kind, soft spoken and easy to speak with. My son saw Dr. Banks today and she was also amazing. As soon as she walked in a lot of my worries were put to rest. Dr. Banks had an incredible disposition she was so sweet to my son and at no point seemed irritated even when he tried to wiggle away from her. I am not sure how the they are through actual cleanings and other procedures seeing as how this was only my sons "happy visit" (having a look around the mouth, providing a quick fluoride treatment). But I have no worries they will continue to please me and take amazing care of my little guys oral health and start a good foundation for him for future dental visits. See yall in 6 months! Thank you!

Kitsap Kids Dentistry is an outstandingly professional and fun pediatric dental practice with the highest quality staff and business practices. As a pediatric RN, after moving to the area and before Kitsap Kids opened, I searched throughout several counties trying to find a quality pediatric dentist, but we had such horrible experiences with other "childrens" dentists that I ended up driving two hours back to Issaquah to my childrens previous dentist. Soon after Kitsap Kids opened a new clinic on Bainbridge, we visited the office and were very impressed. My children are now teens and have been patients for many years, and they still are excited about going to the dentist and genuinely enjoy their visits. My daughter had a cavity filled by Dr. Banks when she was 11 and, even though she was anxious at first, she had such a wonderful experience that she said actually said she hoped she had another cavity so she could get to have another tooth pulled! Once when there was a billing error, the office manager reported the problem to me immediately and sent a reimbursement check to me right away. The office staff are very knowledgable about insurance and always put extra effort into making sure insurance benefits are maximized. Overall, I could not more highly recommend Kitsap Kids.

My toddler had her very first dentist appointment at Kitsap Kids Dentistry. The staff was very welcoming to the both of us. The waiting area was very clean and friendly. They even have a play area for the kids with a slide and iPads on the wall filled with different apps! When we walked into the exam room, it was pleasant and clean. I noticed a television on the ceiling so the child can be distracted while being worked on in the chair. There was also a handheld gaming console on the side of the chair for another distraction. For my toddler, she played with the wooden toy puzzle on the wall and the stuffed animal. The assistant was nice enough to play an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and my toddler got excited when she heard the theme song! At the end of the appointment, my daughter received a couple of goodies - a T-shirt, toothbrush, a small dental mirror, a rubber ducky, and samples of floss and wipes. It was a great first experience for my daughter. I recommend Kitsap Kids Dentistry to anyone and everyone!

I have to say that is was an amazing experience for my daughter and I. At 18 months I took Malia to another dental office and it was subpar compared to our new patient visit we had today at Kitsap Kids Dentistry. At 2 years old there isnt much you can do, but the DA showed us around and made my daughter feel so comfortable. She let her touch the instruments and was so kind to us. Dr. Banks came in and did a check up and seemed to really care about the concerns we had. I loved how she gave us a call a week ago to say she was looking forward to seeing my child come in as well. The office had a nice hawaiian decor throughout and I think the highlight was the little playground they had for my daughter to play in. They even had ipads to use on the walls. Great way to entertain the kids while you wait for them to be seen. I have nothing but nice things to say about this clinic. So impressed with every little detail they did. Would recommend to all my friends with little ones!

We are so thrilled to have found Kitsap Kids Dentistry, which came highly recommended from a family friend. The kids are excited for their appointments and the staff are absolutely amazing with kids. I really appreciate that the procedure is explained to the kids as they work so the child always knows what is coming and what to expect. The waiting room is lovely and makes it so easy and comfortable for siblings to enjoy while brother or sister are at their appointment. There is an abundance of entertainment, from a movie of choice, to tablets galore, a Disney movie is always playing in the waiting room, as well as the indoor playground area and the selection of kids books make it a pleasure to wait. There is always a follow up call to ensure the child is adjusting well after the appointment, which is a nice touch if extensive work was done! Lastly, the staff are genuinely wonderful and caring folks and we feel like were seeing old friends every time were in!!!
