I recently had a very bad experience with Corvallis Clinic and Dr Cleary. Long story short my heart stopped due to a genetic condition I didnt know I had. After 2 nights of repeated CPR and 23 shocks from the defibrillator (most of which I was conscious for) I ended up having surgery for a pacemaker. It happened out of nowhere, one moment I felt a little off then I passed out and started this awful chain of events. I went home broken, bruised from the CPR and recovering from my pacemaker/ICD surgery. They sent me home with pain medication (Percocet) and it was supposed to last 6 days., lasted 9 and that day I went to my doc at the clinic. I was a wreck. I was having panic attacks all the time, terrified of dropping dead again (literally) and my chest hurt so bad from repeated CPR. So my doc prescribes Xanax and offered Percocet but I asked for Vicodin because it wasnt as bad as when I left the hospital and a referral to pysch. How it worked out taken as prescribed the Xanax would last 3 days and the Vicodin 6. 10 days later I requested a refill and got the most condescending and rude note from the doctor! Essentially saying I was overusing meds. Even though I used them well beyond the bounds of how they were written, the mental health department still hadnt even looked at my referral and I was daily in tears trying to shake off this feeling of panic. Ive never taken Xanax before, didnt like it but at least I could sleep for a couple hours. I still had deep bruising on my chest but the doc said the meds werent for long term use. 10 days? At the time I didnt question it, honestly I was so miserable I just think I didnt have it in me to push back. Its 6 months later and they never got me in to mental health. I suffered for another 4 weeks being in pain to the point of tears from my chest healing. I felt like I was overreacting but then learned sometimes the nerves get damaged and it just takes more time to heal. I got myself in to another doc for meds and luckily dont have to take Xanax but still am having panic attacks. the Corvallis clinic and that Doctor let me down in a huge way. When I was going through something so big they didnt do their part as my health care provider and considering they kind of corner the market here, thats really sad.

Initially, when i was in serious pain due to an injury in the ankle that i did not realize was causing me discomfort in other areas of my body i had went to see Dr. Mary Ochadlik at the Corvallis Clinic about pain i was having in the groin area. After leaving her office with an ultrasound, her "in-depth" diagnosis, and feeling very belittled, I had no information whatsoever (or advice on what to try/do) on what may be causing me pain in that area other than an "Im sorry, I dont know" and my impressive bill (after insurance). The care that a doctor should have was absolutely absent in this appointment. I genuinely felt that i was a nuisance to Dr. Ochadlik and that she couldnt care less about the issues i was coming to HER with to try and solve. In fact, I had a better and more knowledgeable experience with the ultrasound technician for 5 minutes than i did spending 20 with Dr. Ochadlik herself. Overall, i would not in a million years recommend anyone i know to this doctor. All i can say is that Im very glad I went to Samaratin Orthopedics and spoke with Dr. Jason Lin who put an extreme amount of attention and care to my issue and helped to figure out the issue causing other issues.

In dispute to other reviews. I have seen Dr. Ochadlik on two different occasions once for a vasectomy and honestly she was professional ,courteous and an all around great doctor. I would absolutely recommend Dr Ochadlik under any circumstance and if I have a need for this sort of visit I would do it again in the blink of an eye. In regards to Corvallis clinic as a whole my primary Care Dr. Pham works there and so does my Endocrinologist and they are second to none with their expertise, comfort and bed side manner. The also have the great ability to be human and interactive and prompt with help when necessary. Ive seen Dr. Pham now for several years and honestly, herself and her staff are fantastic.

Do not come here for Family Medicine. This is honestly the worst practice I have ever seen. The MAs are very unorganized and I wonder where they got certified because they do a terrible job. Im surprised the doctors there are still licensed. I gave one star because if you went to medical school or are otherwise just healthy then you can go to this practice but no they will not take care of you or give you a care plan. They suck at following up on patients. Go to Good Samaritan if you want good patient care.

If I could give no stars I very much would. This place has a horrible attitude. My wife and I are expecting when this should be a happy and great experience the "advice nurse" has been nothing but condescending towards my wife and treating her very poorly. My wife blacked out and all the "advice" she had was what do you want me to do about it? Stay far far away unless you like being treated like garbage then this is the place for you. Would rather see a backyard doctor than her again

I couldnt get Janet Preller, patient advocate to do her job. She would not return my phone calls to register complaints about multiple mistakes by the Sleep Lab. I tried to complain about her but was told, "She is the top of her department." Char in Administration refused to put me through to the CEO or anyone else but Janet. It is ridiculous to be put through to the person one is complaining about. How can a clinic reduce medical risks if they ignore repeated mistakes by staff?

I trust Dr. Cleary, he is wonderful and take time to listen. Patients are not aware that as Doctors, they also have deadlines, time limits that they are allowed to spend on patient. Doctors are also human beings who cannot remember everything about each of their pts conditions unless they are reminded. So please be kind to them because they are taking care of you and your love ones

We take our kids to see doctor Rivers here and the shes is great. We moved across the valley, but we still come here for their appointments because doctor Rivers is so great. They give our kids free books each visit, and whenever we have questions the nurses/doctors are capable of providing help over the phone. The OBGYN staff here is also very experienced and nice.

This is the hardest medical office to pay in the universe. Their phone system does not work, the online billing system doesnt include all of your bills (even after months), and the office is never open. How am I supposed to keep my account from going to collections if I cant ever pay these people? Ridiculous.
