First Ill start with me walking in. . I was not greeted. . . But was basically barked at to sign in. Then asked what I was here for. . . And told them so. An older gentleman actually walked In . . A customer . . And there was a during dog right in front of the door. The poor thing. . Abd that poor owner. That older gentleman told the Lady with the very ill dog to move her dog rudely. . That he cant walk. . Everybody in the room including the front office staffed gasped for air as this jerk had no sympathy. Like really? so I know this very had to be a loving place. I felt safe that my baby would be taken take if these people had reactions like I did of this man who obviously doesnt like animals. But why I rated this a 2 star is because when I picked up my cat. The gal who brought him out was not gentle with the carrier with him inside. It was ridiculous. She handed him off to me like he was trash. The front office girls when I arrived were so stressed out. . I dunno why. . But you could tell because they were accidentally charging under wrong accounts. . Then out loud speaking about the mistake. . And trying to figure out math out loud abd having difficulties. . One lady was like telling the other gal to leave her alone with a shush wave of the hand. . . so rude to one another. . . Watching the staff tell the owners to weigh there dog. . Asking with attitude. . Im not exaggerating. . . It was just the most unsettling feeling to now have picked up my cat after all this. And they told me he was ready to go home to early. He can barely open his eyes or walk after being fixed. I could just keep going. . But I wont. . I just needed to get this of my chest. . . I can say though. . The Mr. Dr. I saw in the morning talking to the lady with the ill dog seemed very nice and compassionate.

If you really dont care about your animal, this is the place to go. Think you going to save money, think again! This is no longer like the prior companion on Powell! My sis took her healthy 7 month old dog in for a simple spay procedure due to a 60.00 coupon from the humane society. They said for an extra amount they would administer iv fluids to prevent dehydration so she agreed. When she picked her up she was bleeding profusely and so dehydrated that her lips were sticking to her gums. They told her she had bled all over during surgery due to being in heat. My sis told them she had been out of heat for 2 months and she purposely waited until she was out of heat to have her spayed. They told her they can be in heat for 3 months ...not true. They then also charged her for 2 spays...bill now 220. Myah was crying in pain and bleeding so they took her in the back and wrapped gauze around her. My sis rushed her to an emergency real vet where it was discovered she was a close to needing a blood transfusion, lost 3 staples already and was severely dehydrated and NOT IN HEAT! The 60.00 bill turned into 500.00! UPDATE- 4 days after surgery most staples came out during the night....she is in a crate and not active....flaps of skin are hanging and she is bleeding....great job Companion...now bill will be more like 800.00!!! All of this for trying to save money using the coupon! Note most of the good reviews were from over 4 years ago. They have new Drs. the one that worked on Myah was a female her last name starts with a W.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. For starters, the front desk is extremely unhelpful and rude. You would think an animal clinic would be a fun and friendly environment, this place is the opposite. We took our 1 year old pup to get spayed which is a scary experience for her and us. It has been a week and my dog is still clearly in a ton of pain and is not acting like herself. I called another vet and they said her behavior sounds troubling and we are seeking help from them to fix this problem. When we picked her up we had to pay extra for sedatives, the cone and pain pills, which was fine but they barely gave us any instruction and on top of that SHE WAS BLEEDING and they showed no sympathy of anything, just bandaged it up and sent us on her way. The first night she literally bled through her bandage, the wrap they put on, a wrap we added AND a bathroom towel. I was terrified she was going to die. Her incision looks like an old doll a child sewed together. We brought her back 4 days after surgery because her bandage came off and all they said was shes fine and didnt even give us another bandage to hide the wound and stitches. I never even spoke to the actual doctor and the vet tecs that brought her out look barely out of high school and had no educational information to tell me about my pet. I am so beyond worried about my dog. I would never recommend anyone to this clinic for any purpose or needs.

I do not recommend this vet I made an appointment to get my puppy spayed and when i made the appointment the lady on the phone Gave no instructions she just told me to bring her in on the date of the appointment and i asked when i could drop off my puppy she said 8am So i go to do off and i got there at 8:40 and checked in there was one person ahead of me i sat and waited the at about 9 she came out and started telling me that i would have to reschedule because check in stops at 8:30 and the doctor has already scrubbed up for surgery and now there is no one to perform the pre opp exam I explained to then that the reason i was late is my puppy had gotten sick all over the car on the ride in so i had to pull over twice to check on her and try to clean up the vomit or i would have been there on time but that makes no difference i think its a little ridiculous that the doctor is so lazy that he can not re wash his hands to do another exam and that gets me thinking about me details about this place so does the doctor not re sanitize before each surgery? Or are the so lazy that once they scrub up for surgery they just go in a line and do it as fast as possible and go from one dog to another with dirty hands So take this review as you will but the service i have received was horrible and will never go back here

I have made two trips to this companion pet clinic. The first was for my first cats spay surgery. They didnt acknowledge me when I walked through the door. Only after several minutes did they tell me to sign in. They had given me little to no instruction on what to expect for the day of the procedure. I had to ask questions to get info out of them. Good customer service is acknowledging customers even if you cant help them in the moment and when helping them, anticipating questions and giving them all the information you can. Not waiting for them to ask questions. The second visit I brought in both cats. One to have surgery sutures removed and the other for first checkup and shots. They are walk-ins only. I got there at 9:45 and wasnt put in a room until 10:10, I then waited in the room for the Vet for another 15 minutes. The Vet did a a good job diagnosing and helping animals but then didnt give clear instructions on what to do once I got back to the lobby. And the ladies at reception once again didnt acknowledge me or help me. I waited for another 40 minutes to get the medication and to be wrung up. I will not be back to this clinic.
