My son had an emergency on a day when their office was closed (Monday). When I called their office, I got their voicemail which did have an emergency contact number which I called. After we took our son to his previous dentist (who was wonderful and got us in right away and helped to reassure us our sons teeth would be ok - Dr. Bittner in Sherwood), we got a call be back from Dr. Gutierrez who simply said, "Sorry I cant see your son today." Then he gave me the name of a dentist in McMinnville, but he didnt have the number for. He said I could find the info online. I couldnt find this dentist anywhere. Dr. Gutierrez did call us back later to check in and said he would like to see our son on a follow up visit, but I am not looking forward to that because during the conversation we had before he was asking about what happened and then casually said our son would probably just "lose that tooth". This was not comforting at all. What parent wants to hear that their 7 year old son will have to lose his top front adult tooth? We are switching to a different dentist as soon as we can.

Absolutely awful customer service! They are terrible about calling for reminders and following through with what they say they are going to do. Being an OHP client, I felt I was disrespected due to my insurance. I was dropped with zero notice because I missed ONE appointment in five years because they told me they would call beforehand to check on my pain level to decide what they were going to treat on my appointment day and they never did. I would never recommend this family dentistry to anybody.

Dr Gutierrez was wonderful with my daughter. He was very patient with her. A different dentist last year couldnt even get her mouth open and just told me hopefully she will be okay. Dr Gutierrez agreed to see my daughter once a month until he can get her comfortable enough to give her a proper exam.

Worst customer service Ive ever received at a dentists office. Repeatedly made errors with paperwork and communication. Every interaction was a struggle. Ultimately did not listen to the customer regarding care and service. My kids will never go to this dentist again.
