Dr. Kean was recommended by our pediatrician for our sons broken arm. Horrible experience. Heres why: After taking X-Rays, Dr. Kean ONLY took my husband and son into the casting room leaving me and my younger daughter to wait in the exam room. I was furious. As a mom, I wanted to ask him questions about my sons arm. Instead, he told me it was best I stay away. How irritating and unprofessional. Uninvited, I went into the casting room anyway where it seemed like I was an outsider. He didnt address me cordially, instead was dismissive and rude. My husband tried to ask all the right questions, but again, as a mom, Im the only handling our son daily and needed to know details. Dr. Kean could have cared less and moved on with his day waving me aside. Front desk staff was extremely rude. The address was listed wrong on our paperwork and online so we went to the wrong location and hurried to make it to their correct one on time. They seemed rushed and unapologetic. Also unprofessional. Horrible wait time. The waiting room was packed and we were there waiting for 45 minutes before even being let into the exam room. Then it was XRay time. This took a good 20 minutes. Then we had to wait about 30 minutes longer before Dr. Kean showed up (again, to simply dismiss me and leave with my son). I found him to be sexist, irritated with my questions, and dismissive to a parent whose child had broken his arm for the first time. Stay away. This doctor could care less to have your business.

Saw Dr. Kean with severe knee pain, had an MRI previously. I chose him because his office accepted my insurance, and his was the first appointment I could get. He reviewed the MRI (pictures only) with me, and showed me where the meniscal tears were. Then proceeded to tell me that "there was good news, and bad news. The good news is, you dont need a knee replacement YET. The bad news is, I cant do anything to help you." He invited me to have a second opinion, and gave me the option of having a steroid injection or anti-inflammatory meds. My mouth was literally hanging open, and I was on the verge of crying, due to the fact that I never had knee problems before. He gave me the shot, told me to come back in 6 weeks, ordered PT, and walked out. After obtaining the MRI report and doing a lot of research on the web, I found out that degenerative meniscal tears are not repairable, and found that there are options. Dr. Kean never used the words "degenerative tear", and did not explain anything to me. I got a second opinion and luckily found another surgeon who was compassionate, cared about all aspects of my health (including mental), and gave me more options for treatment before the TNR. Would not recommend this doctor. Do your homework, people, you have to be your own advocate.

In 2008 I fell off a ladder and crushed my heel. Dr. Kean put my foot and ankle back together. I have experienced some pain and balance problems for the last 6 months. I saw Dr. Kean today (5-25-2017). He presented several options, starting with the least intrusive. But the decision will be up to me to decide how to proceed. Dr. Kean understood my problem, was easy to talk to and made me feel like I was a priority. The entire staff ---- from the receptionist to the X-ray technician--- treated me the same way. I felt like a valued patient and they wanted me to feel better. I am very happy with this clinic and Dr. Kean. I would definitely nicely recommend him.

Dr Keen was recommended to me by my primary care Dr. I found him knowledgeable and he really helps to relieve the severe arthritis pain I have in my knees and hand. The place was super easy to find and once there I didnt have long to wait at all. The staff is always very kind, nice and professional. If you need a podiatrist too -- there is a nice one also in the same building (Dr Moy).

I have seen Dr. Kean on several occasions for knee and shoulder issues. He has been kind, listens to my concers, gave me tons of information and showed genuine compassion. I have had multiple injections from him from cortizone therapy to orthovisc....they never hurt! I love this md!! Would definitely recommend him! I have a hard time believing he would ever be sexist or dismissive....
