VIOLATE HIPAA LAWS!!! While there to pick up a prescription refill, I was treated unprofessionally and rudely by a male member of the front desk staff. It was one man in particular, who was rude and unprofessional. He was arrogant and did not answer a direct question that I asked. Instead he turned to another person standing in the lobby, and said "Lets ask her why the prescription for controlled substance was not ready when they called you to pick it up!" This stranger then launched into a nasty and LOUD diatribe about me being there to pick up a RX for a controlled substance! It created a SPECTACLE, with me as the victim. I felt bullied and intimidated. This is a HIPAA VIOLATION that is a LAW enacted to protect the privacy and security of health information. I was embarrassed and humiliated, and left as quickly as possible. The folks in the lobby were smirking and grinning, apparently amused and entertained by his flagrant display. Later that day, I called the supervisor, Shannon. I had to call her TWICE to get a response. She was clearly uninterested and didnt give a hoot that I was treated in a rude and unprofessional manner, and had clearly violated my HIPAA rights to privacy! When I asked the supervisor, Shannon, why the desk clerk would involve a STRANGER, asking her why the RX wasnt ready, she said that she didnt know and hadnt asked about this strange aspect of the desk clerks rude behavior! She wasnt interested in investigating the unprofessional conduct of the staff, and the poor judgment they demonstrate. I suggested that someone like this unprofessional desk clerk should not be in a position of dealing with the public, she dismissed it. The desk clerk is the front line "public face" of Providence Gateway, and this immature, brash, arrogant person reflects poorly on Providence. The supervisor did not understand this at all. She seems to lack insight and maturity and judgment herself which is why this arrogant jerk is in the front desk position, insulting the patients with at his surly arrogant behavior. I am shocked that my HIPAA rights were violated so blatantly, and I was subjected to such rude and unprofessional behavior. I am looking for another medical establishment as of right now! I will file a HIPAA violation report. The is unacceptable by an so called professional establishment!

My first visit here was fantastic. Dr. Dustin Smith, was friendly, as well as the guy that checked me in. Did not feel uncomfortable in the slightest. I appreciated his kindness & him not creating an awkward environment for me. My 2nd visit was with Dr. Joseph Buck. This guy was uncomfortable as all hell. It was obvious from the start. I felt awkward with him treating me. I didnt get much of a friendly vibe from him. This also showed in my paperwork. My guess is that he is TRANSPHOBIC. It reflected heavily in my After Visit Summary where he changed my pronouns purposefully. He definitely needs training on how to handle the LGBTQ community. I did not realize it until I got home. I also called them for re-clarification on aftercare. The nurse that I was given to, obviously did not care to have a conversation with me. Instead I got immediate attitude for asking a simple question. She was extremely condescending & rude. "Open up your paperwork & what does it say? Read it back to me." SERIOUSLY???!!! Then she did not want to believe me with what it stated in my paperwork, as if to challenge me. I had to show her over the phone where it read this in the paperwork. It made no sense. "Did you make an appointment to see your primary care provider? Ok, when is that? Good." All in nasty attitude tone. Thanks for the chat! You were extremely unhelpful. Bed Side Manners, FAIL When someone is not feeling well the last thing anyone needs is attitude. It does not help the process in healing & makes it harder for people in the community to trust others when you get this type of nasty treatment. I will never go here again. I will be passing this info onto my friends so they do not have to go through this same type of bullshit experience.

Oct 19 ,2016 I am in here at this office for a Lab work. This is my first time here I do not know how it works.I came in and stand by the window is said -Lab/X-ray - for awhile before I see the sign( no one say anything to me ) the sign said that -Lab and X-ray Patients Please sign in and have a seat. The technical will call your name shortly-( I saw one lady just stand around and dont even say a words) If people who can read or do not see the sign what theyre are going to do just stand there? Who ever boss of that place need to check on that please without patients you guys dont have job ( I dont want that to happens to any ones who work there )I am thinking to try another clinic if any betters. I already read the BAD reviews here about this clinic but I give them a try dont like it.....

They are often rude checking you in, the nurses and doctors simply state what you already know from googleing the problem yourself, and suggest you follow up with a dr and then by the time you get to the dr your symptoms have increased to become a bigger concern. They do happen to get you in fast if they are not to busy and they are 6/10 clean. They do have a issue with keeping punctual and remembering things. Ive have to remind them several times to do things that they said they were going to do. Overall its just more of a reassuring word that is somewhat accurate until you can get to your primary doctor ( and of course that is if your actual doctor is decent.)

I wouldnt advise anyone to go here If they are under severe pain and hope to recover. Been years and im still in pain every single day. Doctor Mezey Is The Worstest In The Nation. She has a bad attitude and she doesnt ever listen to your needs. She has done nothing but waste my time and money. So thank you Mezey ! Im finally switching clinics. So hopefully they will give me a doctor that will actually listen to their patients needs and pain.

Been a patient here of Dr Bower for at least 20 years. Overall, staff in every capacity have been great over the years. From the front desk, to the lab, the nursing staff to the staff manning the phones, Ive always felt everyone had my best interests at the forefront. Also, have noticed an implementation of system improvements over time. Keep up the great work everyone!

They made me wait for 45 minutes in the lobby only to find out nothing then i received a bill for 350 bucks. Its a sham. What these people do here is nothing short of looking your symptoms up online then regurgitating it back to you. You can save your self the money and Google it yourself. Thank you health care system for nothing.

I have been coming here for 9-10 yrs, had 3 different doctors, all were phenomenal, dont let the bad reviews scare you. I am picky and I love this place. My doctor is Dr. Bower, who is excellant.
