This place was a nightmare. After having a miscarriage and spending 2 years trying to get pregnant again I went to this office at the recommendation of a friend when I finally got pregnant. I told them my history and health issues, and I told them that I wanted my progesterone checked as I have PCOS and low progesterone is common (and leads to miscarriage). They REFUSED repeatedly to do a simple $75 blood test I would have gladly paid out of pocket to get done so that I could take progesterone and stay pregnant. They said that their policy is not to check progesterone levels unless there have been 2 or more miscarriages. I went in for an ultrasound at ~7 weeks. Everything looked good, heartbeat, normal development, etc. I asked again for the blood test, and was turned down again. Every time I went back I saw someone else and had to go over my entire medical history because no one seemed to check the chart. At 12 weeks I got very ill and was unable to keep down anything including water. I called the office after 8 hours of vomiting every 15 minutes and was told to wait until I had been sick for 24 hours and go to the ER. After 24 hours I finally went to the ER, and asked for someone to check the baby. No heartbeat was found between 3 techs and 2 ultrasound machines. I made an appointment the following day to see the OB, I had to go over my medical history AGAIN, they did an ultrasound and found the baby was lost around 7 weeks, shortly after my first ultrasound. If they had just done a simple blood test maybe that baby would still be here. Anyway, it gets worse. So I had to go in for a D&C, which Dr. De La Vega performed. He seemed like the first competent doctor I had seen at this office. He said I should make an appointment with him in 2 weeks and he would run all kinds of tests to find out why this happened. I made the appointment, he came in, stared at me blankly (with my chart in his hand) and asked what I was there for. I had to remind him that he had performed surgery on me, and that I was there for the tests he said he would perform. He kind of shrugged and wrote a prescription for some blood work, checked my lady parts and told me to come back in two weeks. I got the blood work done and went back two weeks later to see another doctor. They gave me a blank stare, I went over what happened and explained that I had blood work done, and I was supposed to get genetic testing etc. I got another prescription for the same blood work, and told to come back in two weeks. I did, and rinse, wash, repeat. I finally got angry enough to say "Look, I have had the same blood work done 3 times, an no one has told me the results. No one has told me why I need the same blood work done every two weeks, what you are testing for, so if you arent going to explain that, I am not going in for the 4th time." This doctor seemed confused and didnt seem to know I had already had the tests done repeatedly. No one seems to ever look at the chart in front of them. No one listens to your concerns or answers questions. Every time you go there you have to explain whats going on. I stopped going after that. Three weeks later a secretary called me and said Dr. De La Vega wanted me to get one of my fallopian tubes checked for scarring. WTF does that have to do with a miscarriage? It wasnt an ectopic pregnancy, and my infertility is caused by hormone imbalances making me not ovulate, so what did my fallopian tubes have to do with anything? No answers there, so I declined to schedule. For my next pregnancy I went to Caring for Women in Easton. Aside from some issues with their scheduling process, its a great office, with only a few doctors and they actually get to know their patients. Dont go here unless you like being a number, and you enjoy incompetence.

I did not had good experience at this location with ultrasound technician. She was very rude and inexperienced. I started bleeding after 6 wks vag ultrasound, technician was being rough with probe. Seemed like she was having bad day, but its not right to be rude w/ patients.

They are always accommodating to get you in to be seen, even if it is short notice and an emergency
