Dr. Gallagher is a wonderful Optometrist. He is very thorough and explains everything along the way. He makes sure you get the right prescription and doesnt hesitate to address potential health concerns. However, the front store staff is not as pleasant. They have ignored me while I stood at the front desk waiting for assistance, even had the secretary walk right up to the desk...fish around for papers...turn and walk away into the back room. They are not polite and if you are not visibly an older adult, they dont give you the time of day to answer any questions or respect any concerns you have. They need to adjust their attitudes so people will want to come back. If it wasnt for Dr. Gallaghers exceptional service, I wouldnt be going back.

Was a patient for many years. Never liked the male staff as they were a little rude. The guy that sells you glasses - very car salesman like. Loved Dr. Gallagher - thats why I kept going back. My insurance changed and when I called to inform them - so rude. They do not take my insurance and would not help me find someone local in the area. Glad to leave. But at my new doctors office - my new glasses from The Eye Shoppe that I received less than a year ago. - were a 2-3 year old prescription. I had another eye place test and yes, I had been given an old prescrption - thought they seemed weak . Im glad to have left. Would not reccommend this place in Collegeville. Dr. Gallagher has another office.

I have been going to The Eye Shoppe for as long as I can remember. I have always had a great experience and the people are extremely helpful. I had to leave the office due to a change in insurance and was devastated we had to leave. When our insurance changed yet again, the first move we made was to come back to The Eye Shoppe where we knew we would be treated fairly. There is a good sense of community there and they make sure to learn everyones names and concerns. I ordered contacts and they said they would be in the following week but ended up coming in the next day. Great service. Overall, I have 0 complaints and would encourage others to go there.

Judy, Jeff and the entire staff have always been quite helpful. I get fully checked annually (for detection of glaucoma, stroke, etc.) and they always fully explain the results. They took their time helping me find a pair of new frames that I still love wearing! Great people, Great service, fair prices
