Just wanted to take a moment to send a BIG THANK YOU to Dr Bumstead & Sheila for all their help and friendly service when I recently came in for a long overdue checkup and fitting for new contacts! Im "of that certain age" when closeup reading becomes a problem even though Ive always primarily struggled with astigmatism & distance vision...although finding the right contact lens enabling me to see both far AND NEAR without reading glasses was a bit challenging, Dr B figured it out and my my vision is not only crystal clear but my new lenses are by far the most comfortable Ive ever worn! Ive been with Dr B almost since the day he opened his doors and have always referred my friends and clients to him...now Ill certainly be even happier and more confident to refer than ever before!!! Horrible experience with Randy Bumstead. He could not diagnose my vision problems so I had to go to another doctor who diagnosed simple cataracts! Therefore, I have 2 bills to pay! I have a vision plan but Bumstead billed my medical insurance!! He also charged me for options that I did not agree to when I ordered my glasses! Then to top it off he sent me a threatening letter saying that he always wins in small claims court! After my experience at Point of View Eye Care I think that Randy Bumstead must find himself in court quite often. I say stay away!

This is a terrific comprehensive eye care office. It had been a few years since my last exam. My exam was thorough, the Dr. took the time to get to know me, my eyes, and my needs. He helped with frame selection and contact choices, prices, and his staff was also friendly and helpful. The new frames arrived in a week and new contacts only take a few days as well. Clean, professional, quality service and care. Im really pleased with my experience.

This is hands down the BEST! Dr. Bumstead and his assistant were both extremely kind, knowledgeable and considerate. Dr. took his time and answered all my questions along with providing me a thorough examination and explanation with each step. I love the new glasses too! They fit perfectly and the Rx is just right. Dr. Bumsted is a great guy. Hes very down-to-earth and was helpful answering all of my questions. My exam was quick and easy and I managed to receive my contacts and glasses quickly even though I had my exam right in the middle of the Christmas holiday.
