My family and I have been going to Trappe Family Eyecare for the past several years, and we are very happy with their services - best Eye Care Practice we have ever gone to! Everyone, from the Doctors to the office staff, is so professional, competent and friendly. My family has seen both Dr. Malikkal and Dr. Fuchs over the years, and we cant be more happy with their services. Recently, both Drs. Malikkal and Fuchs kept an eye on (pun intended) a possible condition I may have had developing and recommended a specialist, who confirmed their diagnosis. I cant thank them enough. Barb, who is the optician who assists you with selecting and ordering eyeglass frames and contacts is outstanding. She is very patient, knowledgable and customer focused. Finally, I also wanted to mention that Trappe Family Eyecare, as a local and family owned business, is very involved in the community, donating services and products to a number of local organizations. I would HIGHLY recommend this practice.

I visited recently for an annual eye examination. The desk staff greeted me courteously and took my medical information. After that, they quickly did some standard tests--no waiting. (My appointment was at 5:30 pm and the office wasnt busy; it might be busier at other times of the day.) After the tests, Dr. Wise immediately came to the exam room and asked if I had any concerns or questions. She thoroughly explained the tests and showed me the results right away. She is very knowledgeable and professional, and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. (I have had Dr. Mallikal for previous appointments and found her to be just like Dr. Wise in that respect.) I have been a patient at Trappe Family Eyecare for more than 10 years, and I am very happy with the care they have provided.

The whole is experience was truly thorough and efficient! I had an evening appointment and they did not rush me through and was very informative!!! Everyone is so professional and able to answer the many questions that I had. I felt like I had a complete eye exam and was very please with the whole office I have been coming here for over twenty years and I continue to come even though my insurance does not cover the visit. In my 50s I decided to get contacts instead of glasses for the first time and they worked with me so well and were extremely patient! I love the contacts and the entire office!

I had previously been going to the same eye doctor office for 30 years, but it was getting to be too far a drive from my house. I stumbled upon this practice, close to my home and what a great family eye care office. The doctors are both great - I have seen Dr. Malikkal and my husband and son have seen Dr. Fuchs. Cannot say enough great things about them. The office/receptionist staff are patient and kind. The office is clean and they have tons of choices for glasses to choose from. LeeAnn does a fabulous job helping you find the perfect glasses to wear. I highly recommend this eye doctor practice.

I have been going to Trappe Family Eyecare for years and am constantly amazed at what a pleasant experience I have on my yearly visits. Last year, Dr. Malikkal listened to my desire to try contacts and lo and behold, I only need ONE contact to correct my farsightedness. Although it took me FOREVER to get my first contact in by myself in the office, I was never rushed or felt as if I was a nuisance. Everyone in the office is professional, friendly and upbeat and although I only go in once a year, it always feels as if I am part of the family when I walk through the door.

I cant say enough, thanks to the team at Trappe Eyecare I still have my vision. I did not understand symptoms of a huge problem they addressed it quickly and efficiently, while helping me get the care I needed. They went above and beyond normal care and standard treatment. I have two small children and they always work with me to get me an apt that works with my schedule. Everyone in the building is so nice and they dont try and trick you into anything you dont need. I feel completely safe and comfortable having Trappe Family Eye Care take care of my eyes! I didnt know I have an astigmatism in both eyes until I came here and now I see better than I have in years! Totally recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality eye care!

Dr. Malikkal is so patient. I have worked with both doctors and both are wonderful and thorough. The office is clean, the receptionists are friendly. I feel as though I have received high quality of care at their office. I have tried 3 other eyecare places in my town and finally found the fourth place (Trappe Family Eyecare) to be the best fit for me. I have to drive 20 minutes to get to Trappe, but it is worth it!

A wonderful place with kind staff and doctors. Both Dr. Wise and Dr. Malikkal do an excellent job making my kids feel comfortable, and do a nice job explaining things in a way that I can understand. Great experience! My son got a piece of rust in his eye late in the day. Trappe Family Eyecare was the only place open but were getting ready to close. They took my son in and were able to get the rust out. We are not regular customers but will be now! Thank you!!
