Ive researched a lot of area veterinarians online and was excited when I saw this new one come up. I especially appreciated the uniqueness of what this local vet is trying to do. He lists the cost for all vaccines, preventative measures, etc. directly on his website. Usually, I would have to call a vets office for this info, and even then, I often get just "estimates." So I took my cat to an appointment at Windrose. Dr. Skalos was up-front with the expected cost of the visit and provided a Seresto collar for much less than Petco or Petsmart offer. The staff there were friendly and welcoming. They made my cat feel comfortable. Even better, they didnt try to sell me items I didnt need. An added bonus is the facility is bright, new and accessible from Route 228 in Cranberry. I think its interesting that they offer vaccines for life and Express visits - seems to be thinking outside the box. I also appreciate that he is local - from Zelienople.

We had a wonderful experience today at our new vet. Our 8 year old cat doesnt like to travel to the vet or be examined. Dr. RJ and his staff actually sat on the floor and worked with our cat to the point that I dont think she knew she was getting examined. Their patience and caring definitely shows and well be bringing our other 2 pets in soon. Dr. RJs customer friendly approach is truly what we need, with many hour and contact options. And the price- many times what you are fearing paying inhibits you from keeping up with necessary appointments. I think we had sticker shock at how reasonable our visit, with immunizations and testing, was today. We thought the numbers on the invoice were out of order! Overall wonderful experience, we cant recommend this place highly enough.

Dr. Skalos and his staff truly care about my dog and myself getting the best out of the experience. I have never met a staff who will get down on their knees and work eye level a pet. Being able to schedule through email, phone, or text is very convenient also. And the cost of the visit is moderate compared to other vet clinics that I have visited. As long as I live in the Cranberry area, this will be the only place I take my dog Opie.

Ive only been to one other vet so I dont have too much to compare it to; however, my experience at windrose was awesome. They are super friendly, answered all my (many) questions, and even got me into a room when I was early for my appt so my stressed out cat could get out of his carrier. Prices are also affordable. No complaints (and trust me I can be brutally honest!!)

I took my cat for her first visit to Windrose today. This vet is excellent. The front desk was very friendly. Dr. Skalos is excellent, very attentive to answer any questions. He takes the time to really get to know you and your pet. He does not try to upsell you for services you dont need. I am very impressed with Windrose and would recommend them to anyone.

Well my big boy was nervous and for first ever he pooped a huge dookie. No one batted an eye. He did not want the nicest nurse in the world to listen to his heart. The doctor entered with snacks and Gellert was putty. New practice and the staff are big fun. I will continue to go there. My dog feels 100 % better.

Extremely knowledgeable vets who will take great care of your pet without making you feel guilty. Our dog has terrible seasonal allergies and has gotten great care from them. They are fast, friendly and their prices are super reasonable.
