Absolutely would NOT recommend this clinic for reproductive work. I took my mare to them June 2014 for breeding with frozen semen. I was told that she would be checked every 4-6 hours once given a drug. she was checked only 12 hrs and inseminated 48 hr post and they absolutely missed her ovulation. Second attempt was with cooled semen. She was confirmed ovulation BY HENDERSONs on July 28th and them bred without short cycling 12 days later. He was bred in DIESTERUS! Both scenarios were confirmed by an outside expert. My mare then went to New Bolton and she was severely infected that all they could do is try to battle the infection. Total bill $7300+...In addition, they had stocks and never used them on my mare, just sedated her. They had a stallion and said that he was too valuable to tease my mare to him... The matter is in litigation and under malpractice investigation. Forward to 2017... they made my mare barren and this infection has not been possible to clear even 3 years later.

HVA is by far the best Equine Hospital in the Area. The Veterinarians are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Great communication and superb medicine. I couldnt be happier with this clinic whether it be for routine wellness check ups or an on farm emergency situation. Dr. Rachel Levine and Dr. Ellen Levitian are both highly recommended in my book! A++
