Im personally baffled by the wealth of negative reviews on here. I started going to Dental Dreams about 6 months ago after avoiding the dentist for SEVENTEEN YEARS. I was terrified, to say the least. The staff put me at ease and especially Dr. Singh, who understood my apprehension and calmed me without pandering to me. I have since had extensive work done by Dr. Singh and, naturally, spent lots of time in this office. I have been pleased with all my work as well as the chairside manner of the dentist and the assistants. All of my options have always been explained to me to the fullest extent until I understood things. I am also especially surprised to see such negative reviews of the reception/ admin staff, who are always nice, cheerful and professional. Does the place run like clockwork? No, of course not. This is a business that accepts walk-ins. Businesses that accept walk-ins cannot, by their very nature, run like clockwork. Appointments must be fluid in such an establishment--a fact I have always understood (as well as actually appreciated on the occasions I myself had to show up without an appointment). The world needs places that accept walk-ins and this is such a place; bring a book, but if you make your appointment early in the day, youll be fine. Make sure you ask questions about your care and youll be fine. Make sure you dont mind the sound of children and youll be fine. Ask for Dr. Singh, if you can. I had to leave this practice because my insurance changed and I now have to find a new dentist, but Id return if I could. Highly recommended.

Worst experience ever had at dental dreams.!!!! Took my niece and nephew. Dentist (Brinda Shah) didnt even checked my nephews teeths just cleaned them and let him go. My niece 2 years old she didnt even touched her and refered her to pediodontist? Even she is so co-operative. Im a dental assistant also and have worked at dental dreams same clinic.. Seemed like it was her first day at the clinic. And right before we were leaving the doctor again told my nephew to get on chair without her gloves on, and herbassistant wasnt there all the time except bringing us in, and the doctor had to call her to check us out. This clinic was used to be so much better than it is now. Management wasnt so good but it got worse now. Atleast the doctors was good a year ago. But all of them are gone and they have all the freshies without experience & lack of knowledge. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I was extremely disappointed as a former certified Dental Assistant it is important that all efforts should be made to keep your natural teeth. Not to just take a Panorex X-ray (most expensive X-ray) and recommending too extract my tooth. I am aware of the very low reimbursement rate from Medicaid, hence the fast paced patient management style and inadequate care of patients. I would not recommend this site or the Union Deposit site either, because I also experienced a sub-par cleaning of my teeth there also. Having worked in the medical field my whole life and in management of medical and dental practices; my opinion is that these haphazard type of practices ensure that their low income patient base will continue to feed their inefficient practice model. This is a Medicaid chop-shop revolving door of burned out staff that is just interested in making money.

Upon arriving here with what is later discovered as two fractured teeth waiting is mostly what my time there consisted of there where no answers to my questions about my clicking jaw and grinding teeth other than go get a mouth guard fair enough but when the doctor did not put me under and failed not 1 not 2 not 3 but more than 4 times to numb the two teeth properly before extraction. the assistant said if you feel any pain during the procedure to raise my left hand I did so immediatly he said no its just pressure and it wasnt till the assistant said NO he is IN PAIN and me screaming IM IN PAIN that he stopped to numb it properly again with the second tooth only this time he didnt stop ......I was sent home with gauze and minimal follow up instructions or treatment.DO not go here for any reason if it can at all be helped...

Today, when my 10-yr.-old daughter was finally called back to have her small filling taken care of (45 min. after her appt. time), and she was given novacane, the dental worker said she would be back in 5 min. Well,20 min. later her assistant was still trying to FIND her! When she came back in, she said that her MANAGER had pulled her aside to talk to her even though she said she had to get back to her patient. What is up with the management?! Who does that? Why was the 2nd dental helper not even notified of her being taken out? The two women working on my daughter were very kind and professional -- just wonderful people. I do believe they were not at fault. However, I will not go back to a place that has Management not keeping patients (especially children) as their top priority.

You make an appointment and wait hours past your appointment time. Then they take you back to the room then you wait some more until his assistant comes in and tell you the will be with you shortly. It can be another 15-30 minutes from there. The room is set up like a factory and is often dirty with gloves/trash on the floor. The dentist spent approximately 5 minutes cleaning my teeth while talking to his assistant about making bonus for the month. The department of Human services needs to shut this place down and start over. Dental Dreams is all about profit at any cost including that of the health of the patient.

very disappointed, I was suppose to have an appointment since april -may 2015 to get my teeth pulled and they either changed my appointment or rescheduled it. now im in severe pain to the point I can barely eat and all they want to do is give me an appointment in sept. its not my fault my appointment keeps getting changed because you scheduled me on a day the doctor wont be in or on a day he has too many clients and cant see me. so because it is YOUR fault , YOU should have called me the first opening you got. if I have to get more work done because of your neglect you WILL see me again in court!

Got time on your hands? Youll need it to be seen here, even with an appointment. I reported one of the dentist who, cleaned my teeth as if she was cleaning pots with a brillo pad. My gums were sore for days. My last visit was the worse though. I set up an appointment the week before. Yet after 3hrs when the dentist saw me & checked my mouth, she asked if my insiance covered it. I replied, "Yes 100%." Then she asked if I could set up an appointment. I told her this WAS my appointment and I wanted my root canal. She said she couldnt do it, so I told them I wasent comming back.

When to have an emergency visit to have a tooth extracted waited for an hour before I could be seen and it took the the dentist 2 hours to get the tooth out had a total of three x-rays and they shot me full of novacaine 4X before he could even get started I have had 4 tooth extractions at different offices and this was the worst he even busted the outside of my lip horrible experience and horrible bedside manner the nurse and the doctor or both nasty and short and Im still in a ton of pain he turned inside of my mouth into hamburger the people at the front desk were nice
