I went here for glasses and contacts, exams and fittings. The exam was fine. The doctor is knowledgeable and helpful. He took his time, discussed my issues and concerns. Top grades for the DR. The problems began when I got into the hands of customer service. They always seem too busy to help, even when there are very few customers. During my 5 or so dealings with them, I had to wait 15 minutes or more just to speak to someone, and an hour or more total, every time I went there. I had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time with the DR. even though I was there early; and I suspect that a few walk-ins went before me while I waited. Only when the doctor came out and saw me sitting there, did he asked the girls at the desk what I was waiting for. Evidently, customer service never told him I was there for my appointment, for 20+ minutes at that point. Everything customer service did seemed to have to be done twice. They couldn’t find my file (they got my name wrong actually), put the frames I had picked out back on the shelf “somewhere” (and didn’t write down the info), even though I had told them not to over the phone and told them when I would be coming in. When I did come in, a lab tech had to inform me that the tint/refraction/type selections I had made for the lenses for my glasses were not available for the lenses that I needed, so we did that over again too. The bottom line is this branch has a good DR., a good lab tech, and one friendly and helpful customer service rep (Sorry, I don’t remember their names). The rest are going through the motions at best, and incompetent at the worst. This may only reflect the people working after 5pm, as this is the only time I could make it out there. You may get better results during regular business hours.

The optometrist acted like he didnt want to be there. He told me what I was seeing rather than listen to what I was telling him. I received fewer, less accurate tests than i had at my original optometrist. When I received my glasses they did not focus, but again was told they were fine and I just needed time to adjust. Six months later, I asked again and was treated decently and given a different lens by a competent technician but without any eye exam. They also put the lenses back in twice after they popped out before I learned how to do it myself. Finally, the specials deals apply to very few things. I returned to my original optometrist for my next exam and would not recommend this national chain to anyone.

Terrible Terrible Terrible! Dont go there. Been with them for years and just started going to this location a year ago. First I call to schedule an appointment and a female answers and says "I cant pull your info now, were busy just come in and hung up!" On my next appointment, I showed up and apparently they put me in the system for a wrong time, they wont accept responsibility & apologize. This Asian guy said "well we can just reschedule you", I told him doesnt work for me.. he eventually said "good luck finding another doctor". Dont waste your time even if they offer free services. Very unprofessional & lack customer service etiquette.

Its okay. The service is better than Sears Optical, the doctor is knowledgeable and friendly. Of course you have to deal with the upselling later. My reason for 3 stars is they no longer match 1-800-Contacts price so its generally more to order contacts and when I went back to look at glasses on a Sunday at 4pm, it was closed and a gentleman who answered the door said they were doing inventory during store hours. Who does this? Do inventory during after hours, or put a sign on the door or window. Dont just leave customers hanging.

Came here for my exam and glasses without incident. So I decided to bring my daughter for hers. I called 30 mins prior to the appointment time only to be notified that the appointment was being rescheduled because the doctor had an emergency, ok understandable. Appointment made for the very next day, I left work early to be there to meet my wife and daughter, as Im parking outside my wife calls from inside and tells me to turn around because the doctor no-showed AGAIN... and she was told this after filling out all the paperwork.

This is the best eyeglass store/optometrist have ever been to. I love my glasses, and everyone I have dealt with or spoke to in the store has been nothing but pleasant and incredibly helpful. Their frames are reasonably priced, and a warranty is offered in addition to regular tightening and professional cleaning. It seems like they accept every insurance and they fully explain the details of your coverage. I already look forward to buying my next pair of glasses here!

Every time I go here my experience gets worse. Terrible and slow service. I scheduled an appointment to get contacts and waited for over an hour to meet with the eye doctor. Once I met with the eye doctor she told me how they dont have the classes on how to use contacts anymore so she wouldnt be able to give me them. I wish they would have told me this beforehand so I didnt waste an hour and a half of my life. Dont bother going to this location if you want good service.

I give this a 2 star ONLY because the actual doctors we saw were great. The rest of the staff (with the exception of the Asian guy... so sorry I dont know his name) is horrible. Terrible customer service in store and over the phone. The sales/promotions are a joke as they only apply to a handful of glasses that should probably be on clearance anyway. I will be switching.

All I can tell you in the land of retail and service, these folks are awesome! Theres Joe (adorable!) and Sheree (sp? sorry if I dont have that correct) and the whole crew. Vision stores are complex to manage and they do so beautifully! I think theyre pretty great. (But they never did give me a slice of pizza... see if you can figure who I am :-) lol). Thanks again!

My sons appointment was July 16th & still havent received his glasses & everytime I call, numerous people pick up the phone & keep placing me on hold without even getting his name to check to see if theyre in stock. The only reason I gave one star is because the dr was good. DO NOT GO THERE.

Awesome staff. Helped me a lot with my glasses. And picking them up was easy and the lady that gave me my glasses was very helpful about my questions and said that if I need anything else she would be happy to help.

Very unorganized staff, not friendly, expert, or helpful, including the main doctor. Their attitude was that they considered you a problem if you had a problem. I called the Radnor branch and they were excellent!

They were extremely slow even though there were only two customers and at least 5 employees. When they did finally get around to helping us the associate was extremely poor at her job. I would never go back.

Absolutely horrible customer service by most who answer the phone. Do not recommend, are super expensive and even with insurance charged over 300 for a pair of sunglasses. Save yourself the time and money!
