As a new patient, everything at Hershey Dental Associates has exceeded my expectations so far. Some positive things that stood out: - Office was bright, clean and felt new... and did not have the overly-lavish feel that many medical practices can have (a good thing to me!) - No kids toy area - hallelujah, one less germy thing to distract my kids from in the waiting room! - Walking in to see a display of fluoride-free toothpaste, including Spry with Xylitol and tooth powder was so reassuring that I was in the right place for our family. Not to mention that it was really reasonably priced! - Staff is incredibly helpful, kind and attentive, everyone from the receptionist to the techs to the dentists... - Even coming in for a limited appointment (problem tooth), the tech and Dr. Buehner took the time to listen to me and address all of my questions. I never felt like he was rushed and I felt like he even connected personally when asking about my children and sharing about his own. He was very comprehensive in asking about details about the problem, and was very sensitive when poking around the problem tooth. - When I had questions about things like oil pulling and alkalinity, I wasnt scoffed at or shamed for asking like my old office - instead I was met with very helpful information and open discussion. I felt like I was PART of the process, not just a bystander in my health. - Perhaps my old office was just in the dark ages, but HDAs use of digital xrays could be immediately viewed on a screen in front of me and was very impressive! Again, it was nice to be PART of the conversation and not just a bystander while the doctor talks with the tech behind your back where you cannot see or be part of anything. - Again with the simple yet impressive use of technology - the tech was able to review Dr. Buehners calendar right in the exam room and work me into his schedule to be seen again very quickly. - Also - they accepted our insurance, yay! - My travel from Carlisle is well worth the experience here. Side note: GPS seems a little confused by the address - they are actually IN the shopping center beside Giant.

Dr. Layton has such a kind heart. I switched to her about a year ago because my previous dentist didnt seem to be able to match the color of my teeth that needed crowns. I didnt want different colored teeth in my mouth. Dr. Layton will send me down to the lab close by to let them take a computer picture of the tooth I want to match and I cant tell the difference when the crown is put on from my own teeth. Really amazing and professional work. I also had asked her if she ever did any discount work for people who had no money and really, really needed help. A man who works for me has lost many teeth and really needed dental help as his teeth or lack of and infection were making him very sick. Dr. Layton worked out a very helpful plan for him and now he will have a new smile. She really does care about her patients. Thank you so very much Dr. Layton for what you do.

As a child I had many poor and frightening dental experiences and as a result developed extreme anxiety about dental care so that I avoided it at all costs. My wife found Dr. Buehner at his previous dental practice and suggested that I see him. I was very pleasantly surprised by his warm and engaging personality, the thorough quality of his dental examinations, and his painless dental practices. When he opened his office in the Hershey area I followed him there even though it is some distance from where I live. His office is state of the art and relaxing. If you are looking for a dentist who provides quality dentistry, I would strongly suggest you give him a try. He is the first dentist that I have seen where I feel comfortable and do not dread dental appointments.

I had my first dentist appointment with Dr. Buehner today and he exceeded my expectations. Lets face it, there are dentists everywhere and there really isnt that much to separate them apart from one another. However, Dr. Buehner has done just that. First, he performed the entire exam/cleaning. (My former dentist would see me for about 30 seconds during my exam/cleaning). Second, He is using the newest tech in the dental field, digital xrays, ultrasonic water scalers, ect. Third and most important, he took his time to make sure it was done right, everything from the exam, xray, and the cleaning. I scheduled my next 6 month appointment immediately.

I would highly recommend Dr. Bueuhner to any prospective new patients in the Harrisburg, Hershey, Lebanon and surrounding areas. He was very thorough and patient in the pre-exam with questions and also gave me the most comprehensive & gentle dental exam Ive ever had. His easy to locate office is brand new and the equipment is state of the art. Dr. Buehner’s friendly staff was excellent in submitting my insurance as well. After 30+ years with a different local dentist, I will not be seeing anyone but Dr. Buehner for my future dental needs. My mom, dad and brother are all going to Dr. Buehner’s office as new patients as well.

I knew Dr. Ryan Beuhner since he was a baby. I had his dad Dr. Earl Beuhner. His dad was my dentist for 40 years. Best there is. I moved and discovered Dr. Ryan Buehner started his own practice. I know no other person so devoted to his profession. He is as invaluable to everyone as his dad was. I really liked this place. I need to go back asp! The staff is also very knowledable. His state of the art office makes it a breeze to visit Dr. Ryan. Hes the best I know! I knew his dad and all his family it seems like a lifetime. You owe yourself to visit Dr. Ryan Beuhner. They are like family.

Hershey Dental is professional, with the modern equipment and expertise you need for your entire dental needs. Family-friendly for sure with a patient centered atmosphere. In my opinion, Hershey Dental correctly diagnosed and treated an infection in my wifes jaw that two previous doctors and our former dentist missed! The entire staff stayed after hours until my wife was initially treated on an emergency basis and referred/scheduled for oral surgery the very next day. I had horrific experiences as a child with the dentist. Dr. B and his staff have alleviated all anxiety for me. I now have no issues going to the dentist and getting things fixed that needed done years ago. They always take the time to explain the procedure. I also get a copy of a comprehensive treatment plan and cost so I know what my husband and I are both looking at in regards to cost. Very friendly staff and I could not be more pleased.
