Where to begin? First of all, this is the second place Ive been to where they sell the eyeglasses in the same place where the optometrist practices. Im now 0/2 in these types of places generally, and I warn you not to make the mistake of even attempting to get eyeglasses in a place like this. Now, for the nitty gritty... I went in and explained that my last pair of eyeglasses were somehow off-kilter, they had been since I got them. My vision hadnt changed at all in the past year, but I knew something was wrong with the last pair I had from the time I drove home, and that practice would not make me new lenses even though they gave me the wrong patients lenses and thought to themselves "well, that guy didnt pick his lenses up so well give him these, theyre close enough". Despite this, they gave me a prescription exactly identical to my old pair. But the fun is only starting... I was kept waiting in the waiting room for a total of 40 minutes between the initial waiting and the period of time in which my pupils dilated, during which time I was actually sent back out to the waiting room instead of waiting in the office. I was told this wait would be 10-15 minutes. 20 minutes later, and after listening to my doctor sit with the two asian receptionists behind the counter (with whom he couldnt stop flirting with), cracking jokes about every customer who came in (probably myself included the second I walked out the door), I was finally seen by the doctor, whom spent about 3 minutes with me. I can appreciate the need to goof around a little on the job when youre bored, but were talking about a doctor belittling his own patients right in front of them and making them wait longer than is necessary, all while theyre in plain view, and clearly not busy doing anything except fraternizing with subordinates. I might have let all of these things go if it werent for the fact that the guy selling the frames would not direct me to the cheapest pair, and I had to guess at which ones were not the expensive designer glasses. I suppose I guessed wrong, because even though I have insurance, my bill came to over $150. According to state law, eye doctors cannot run an eyeglass sales business. However, they can skirt this law by letting a separate business operate inside the same office. And heres where these assholes violate state law, and heres why Im also going to report these crooks to the authorities: Instead of handing me a prescription at the front desk, and telling me I could buy the glasses there or take the script elsewhere, they did not hand me the prescription, and they instead handed it DIRECTLY to the guy selling the glasses. When I went over to the area where they were selling these glasses, the guy had my chart in a folder in front of him with my confidential medical information. I did not have the option of taking my script to a different business because this guy had his grubby hands on it. I am going to do everything in my power to see to it that these cretins never see the light of day again.

I just wanted to say I was incredibly appalled by how rude their staff was with me on the phone. Ive been a customer for over 4 years, even after I moved I kept going there and never had to cancel an appointment with them like I had to today. Things happen and I had to call to cancel 2 hours in advance since I just found out my husband had to work late and I depend on him to get there. The woman I spoke with said I ruined their evening, because evenings were their busiest times, and wish I had called earlier. What kind of customer service is this? Even after I explained myself, she was rude. I understand my cancellation was last minute, but there is no excuse to speak to a customer like that. I can tell you because of this unfortunate event, me or my husband are never coming back to this clinic again, and we will find someone closer to our place, with more of a respectful and professional attitude towards their customers.

My friend Maria Pappas cant stop talking about this store! Her first experience in purchasing her Rx glasses from Tim was amazing. She was nervous to pick out a pair, there was a huge selection to choose from. But Tim guided her to three great options. She bought 2 of the 3 and a "bonus" pair of sunglasses, all at a reasonable price! What a difference Visual Eyes made. Now, she lost a pair of her new glasses. When she called Tim, he made it possible for her to reorder them at a discount. And, if the old pair is ever found, he will swap them out for a different color of the same brand. What service! She is elated.

Visual Eyes is in a great and convenient location near my house. I was so excited when I found out that there was an eye care office here in huntingdon valley. Everyone in the office is so friendly and I enjoyed the time I have spent there. I needed both glasses and contacts, and I thought it would be complicated, but they made it very easygoing and pleasant. They recommended glasses that I now wear everyday and I get compliments from everyone about them. I tell everyone to come here if they want a great eye exam with a great selection of frames!

Taking my 8 year old son for Ortho-K treatment. Could not have picked a better place. Dr. Dave is super pleasant and professional, not to mention a beautiful lady. Dr. Wrigley keeps track of progress, which actually makes me feel a little more comfortable; although, I find Dr. Dave to be very meticulous in her exams and I feel confident in her work. I am definitely satisfied with the service, support, and follow-up service. Staff is also very friendly, especially Jackie Lee.

I am from out of town and last week my glasses broke. On a recommendation from my cousin I went to Visual Eyes. The Doctor gave me the most through eye exam I ever had. The Staff helped me pick out a really new, up to date frame. Then the Optician was able to make my glasses with thin anti-glare lenses right away. I dont know how I would have made it back to Harrisburg with my eyes and no glasses. Thank You Dr. Goldenberg and staff. You were all great!

Had an absolute pleasure working with the opticians at this store. I had come in looking for a particular frame which they did have in stock. Tim, one of the opticians, took the name down of the brand and the style number, contacted the manufacturer while I was waiting and was able to get me what I wanted. Within a week the frame was ready for me to pick up. Everyone was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will have me as a client.

I always purchased cheap glasses until I walked into Visual Eyes in Huntingdon Valley. The time they spent with me, their knowledge of their products and the friendly atmosphere sucked me right on in and I have been a customer ever since. My son first bought glasses from a Sussie who works there and told me how great she was. I have now sent many customers to her and the others and they love it too!!! WELL BE BACK!!!!!!
