Hi, Im Mike and my experience with St. Mary is indescribable, I do not have enough words of thanks. Today I am alive thanks to: the nuns who founded the Hospital, doctors, nurses and countless people working at St Marys. Between 2001 and 2002 unfortunately 2 strokes ended with my professional career but St. Mary helped me to overcome it. In 2007 a heart attack incapacitated me for several years and St. Mary helped me to overcome it. In 2013 an aortic stenosis almost sent me to the cemetery and St. Mary helped me to overcome it. Thank you St. Mary for not letting me die and give me a second chance of life. ................................. Hola, soy Mike y mi esperiencia con St. Mary es indescriptible, no tengo palabras suficientes de agradecimiento. Hoy estoy vivo gracias a: las monjas que fundaron el Hospital, a doctores , enfermeras y un sinfin de personas que trabajan en el St Mary. Entre los anos 2001 y 2002 lamentablemente 2 embolias terminaron con mi carrera profesional pero St. Mary, me ayudo a superarlo. En el 2007 un ataque al corazon me incapacito por varios anos y St. Mary me ayudo a superarlo. En el 2013 una aortic stenosis casi me manda al cementerio y St. Mary me ayudo a superarlo. Gracias St. Mary por no dejarme morir y darme una segunda oportunidad de vida.

Worst Hospital to be at for an emergency care. Emergency department is a joke over there. Dont want to blame on employees but the process is super lousy. Once you are in, you are stuck for 7-8 hours. You first have to check-in at the counter for token. You wait in the lounge for 1 hour and 15 mins after which you are called by one of the employee for registration. Once you provide detail description of why you are there, then they ask you to wait again. After 30 mins you are now called again to provide insurance details by another employee. You expect to now be seen by one of the doctor, but wait, its still too early, you gotta wait. Wait again in the waiting area/lounge for 30 mins after which finally you are now called by a nurse that takes you in one of the ER dedicated room. Oh well you gotta wait again for someone to see you which is 30 more mins until a nurse (not doctor yet) sees you to start the initial procedures (blood pressure check, data entry of blah blah blah, blood work, urine sample, etc.). Wait another 20 mins and finally a PCA (atleast) comes to you to talk to you about whats happening. Now you gotta wait for results so wait another 3 hours during which you just wait on a golden ugly chair and finally PCA (still not a doctor, but for me it was something better than nothing scenario) comes to you to tell you whats going on. You still get billed for a room that you never went in. Total overall time: 7-8+ hours for analysis. Do I need to mention billing/overcharges headache starts after that?

One of the worst hospitals in this area anymore. Especially the E.R. So disrespectful. Every time I go, they send me home saying nothing is wrong, only to go elsewhere and find something very very wrong. " Some" of the doctors had me follow with them after an inpatient stay and strung me along for so long to only say Im out of their league and I needed to go elsewhere. Had they listened and helped the first time, I would never have been out of their league and now Im out of everyones league and its cost me my future and I am mostly bedridden or homebound now for life.Everyone I know that has been going there says they tell them the same thing they have recently said to me " we are just a small community hospital" there isnt much we can do. Our other options for emergency care, and by ambulance is Aria and Lower Bucks. Its really sad. St. Marys used to be one of the best. I went receipt with a very serious, life threatening problem and they didnt even listen, it was " take a seat" after over an hour, my home care aide took me to Abington and I was admitted immediately with swelling of the menengies in my brain. Treated very very poorly. NCan even hear the nurses talking about you from the nurses station, dont even try to be discreet either. God forbid you hit the call button, its like you do everything you can to avoid pushing it,

I had my daughter there almost 8 months ago and it was by far the worst experience my life. This was my second pregnancy so i knew what to expect...well atleast I thought I did. I had my first at virtua voorhees in nj and what an amazing experience, this time however I had my second here and it was honestly a disgrace I was only in labor and delivery for two hours and after I had the baby I was nursing her and the nurses came in and told me its been long enough and I said she was still nursing I got oh well we need to take her to the nursery so she needs to come off. After I got up to post partum I waited 2 1/2 hours before calling to ask where my daughter was and they finally brought her to me for a hospital that says they do the rooming in process that was clearly not shown. I was in post partum for two days and saw a nurse twice. My room was disgusting they never took my trays and when my family came to visit they had to move dirty trays to sit down. The day I was leaving I asked them to take my daughter so I could get a shower before going home and was told no that they just come in the bathroom with the moms. At the time of my discharge I waited 4 1/2 hours to be discharged and they lost out paper work which had private information such as mine and my fiances social security numbers on them.

This place is disgusting. I have worked in many hospitals and I have never seen anything like this. The doctors are clueless, never answer my questions, the nurses are cold and negligent. My 93 year old grandmother went in for a stroke, which has a very basic protocol of treatment. However, they found a way to mess it up. We had a family member there 24 hours a day to take care of her (feed her as she could not feed herself) and do the job of the nurses while they read magazines and online shopped. If not for us taking the matter into our own hands, there is no doubt in my mind she would be dead. We could not have caught the stroke any quicker as we were in the hospital when it occurred. We had high hopes that she would make a full recovery (as many stroke victims do). Unfortunately, due to the incompetent hands of the medical staff, she is leaving much worse than we ever thought. We just pray that there is still enough time for her to recover. It is a sad day when your loved ones are in better hands at home than in those of the "professionals". Please avoid this hospital at all costs, especially for elderly people as they will simply write you off, as I hope no one ever has to go through the experience we have.

I love the drs here! I know the waiting room for the er is crazy but if you want the right answers go here. I was pregnant and started bleeding thought i miscarried over a week later bleeding stopped but i still had all the symptoms of being pregnant took some tests came back positive. A couple days later i started bleeding very bad. My husband took me to aria just cause it was close and we needed to see what was going on we were scared. After waiting and ultra sounds they finally came back showed us the pictures and said we had a miscarage. But the pic showed a sack. So i said we if i miscarried y is there still a sack they said it didnt break down yet. Which made no sence to me cause then where is all that blood coming from? Left and went to st marys. Got ultra sounds done the dr said u are still pregnant and i have a sub chronic hemorrhage. That i will bleed for months but it will eventually stop. But the baby has been and will be fine. And kept in contact with my ob so i could have continuous ultra sounds throughout my pregnancy till it was gone. Today i have a baby girl because of st marys! when aria told me i miscarried just cause i was bleeding.
