I was directed to come here by police for the crisis center in OCTOBER. I went in and asked the un-compassionate fat lady at the desk if it would cost any money, if so, I want out. She said it wouldnt unless I get anything done. I proceeded to a room where she took my blood pressure, weight, and my pulse. Mind you I stated again before doing this if this would cost money, I want to leave for I am 20 and can leave whenever. I go behind the doors and am met by another unamused nurse saying, "You can leave whenever, but here are scrubs to wear, and we will start giving you drug tests" I thought, drug tests? All this for what?? So I bailed, left, and went home. A couple months later I fainted and went to St.Marys, had an ekg, IVS, and other services. The bill after came out to be $362. I get a mysterious bill in JANUARY from LOWER BUCKS hospital for $380?! My father calls demanding an ITEMIZED BILL. Lady said she sent one. Never received it. Continued to get bills though for the $380. My father calls back AGAIN, demanding an itemized bill. Lady said she sent one. It is now APRIL, I still have not received an itemized bill, but I am now getting calls and bills from DEBT COLLECTOR. So now Im billed for what I assume is a blood pressure, weight, and fever check bill. Which is MORE than the St.Marys bill where I got ACTUAL tests done. I hope you burn to the ground you rude, greedy, money hungry pos.

My mom was admitted via ambulance for what was just dehydration. She had passed out when we were out to dinner and they called an ambulance to check her out. Of course they insisted on taking her to the hospital. The closest was Lower Bucks. I had never been to their ER. When I got there the woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I filled out paperwork and got back to see my mom quickly. The nurse she had was nice. They ran some tests to make sure she was okay since she passed out. We waited for 3 hours for the doctor who seemed a little airy and he said well all tests are fine but were keeping you overnight. My mom refused. All test were normal. The only thing that hurt was her knee which had been bleeding from falling when passing out and they didnt even clean that up. The doctor asked if she wanted to get an X-ray on the knee. No doc, maybe someone could have cleaned it and bandaged it before waiting now 3 1/2 hours. We left when they finally brought paperwork and cleaned her knee up at home. I will be going to St. Marys if I have a choice the next time a family member needs to go to the ER.

Horrible communication both with the patient/family but even worse amongst all members of the medical team. The right hand never knew what the left hand was doing. We asked numerous times to speak to doctors and specialists (even took time off from work so that we didnt miss them) only to have them never show up. Mixup with medication that still is unresolved. Nurses writing vitals on napkins, paper towels, receipts, etc. and then never transferring that information. Good thing we kept our own records. Had to empty my mothers bedpan myself because I got tired of waiting over twenty minutes for a nurse to even acknowledge that my mother had asked. My mother was in for six days with no real answers for why she was admitted in the first place.

Plus - Fairly close drive to home, mostly friendly staff. Negatives - very tired decor inside. One of the magazines in the lab area was a Gourmet from 2005. Cafeteria was closed at 2:30 with only a depressing salad bar and greasy soups with noodles that were dissolving in the broth. Vending machines had $5 meals that would cost you less than 2 bucks at Target. Some kind of large dead bugs in the Short Procedures waiting room fluorescent lights. Other person in waiting room is constantly pacing, guffawing, and snorting while talking loudly on her cellphone.

The worst most unprofessional hospital Ive ever been to. The staff here are unbelievably rude. The woman at the radiology dept was on her cell phone when I walked up to the counter and fingered for me to wait while she finished her personal phone call and then the Russian woman doing my ultrasound took a personal phone call in the middle of talking to me. I will never come back here and suggest to other to find an alternative hospital

Admitted thru ER,superb care;still the quickest and best in the area;I know,Im a physician who practiced in the area for years.Care on 4-South was excellent.Still the best nursing care in the Delaware Valley! Imaging services very efficient.Rare to see these days. Lower Bucks Hospital doesnt get the press,no fancy TV commercials, etc. Just does the job without the fanfare, and does it better and quicker when seconds count!

I have been to the highest rated facilities. This one stands high when compared to the top. The nurses are very compassionate and try very hard to make the patient comfortable. They work very closely with the surgeon whom we picked because of her reputation. We travelled 700 miles to be treated by this surgeon and were surprised that the nursing staff was just as fantastic.

I delivered my baby here and I loved it. I got my own room, and as it wasnt too crowded I always got immediate attention when I needed it. I also had a complicated pregnancy which led to multiple in-the middle-of-the-night emergency room visits and I never had to wait for more than half and hour. Ive even been there during the weekends and waiting is hardly a problem.

Went to the ER in excruciating abdominal pain. Sat for 3 hours crying and shaking in pain for them to tell me there was nothing wrong with me. I walked out and was properly diagnosed and treated at another hospital. Staff was rude and cold. I they never tried to get my pain under control. The other hospital did immediately. Never again.

I had to goto the Er for the first time in my life and they treated me like garbage. The doctor who came in looked at me and said there was nothing he could do without even trying to do a thing. He should lose his license and the hospital should be ashamed of themself. Do yourself a favor and drive longer to goto Saint Mary.
