Feb 09 ordered new glasses with extra polarized sunglass clip. Couldnt see out of R lens and was told to give it time. After a week took to my optometrist who was shocked that the R lens was 180 degrees off. I have progressive bifocals which need very precise measurements--and they were WAY off. No wonder I couldnt see! But GG never noticed that, or they noticed & never told me--thats incompetence to the highest degree. GG claimed they fixed it, but turns out they did not. Also, my extra polarized clip ons did not arrive until JUNE 09, & when they arrived, they had a different color frame & never fit correctly (had over a 1/4" gap btwn clip and glasses lens)! Glasses fell apart; screw would not stay in, even with their "fix" (using clear nail polish before screwing it back in--that was real professional). The temple (part that goes over ear) turned out to be broken and they never told me. I found out in June 2010 from another optometrist that the temple was broken & the R lens was STILL incorrectly aligned. No wonder I had eye strain & never saw correctly with them.. So, $600 glasses turned out to be total junk, GG never owned up to their part in the mess, and now I have to spend another $600 on new glasses (NOT Glasses Galore) in order to see! I will NEVER recommend GG! In many years (over 30) of wearing glasses I have never experienced such incompetence.STAY AWAY!

ok first off i went to go get my glasses in feb. 2013, as (we)my mother and i got their for my app @ 10:30 (opens at 10) and they made me wait there till 11:40 because there was somthing wrong with the celing.... "when the celing was fixed" the eye doctor got me back there. i waited another hour for my mother to get her eyes examined then we left. so we were there from 10:30 till 1 A clock in the afternoon. yea 2.5 hours of waiting to just get our eye examined. then i was told i will get the glasses 3-5 days later. it took 1.5 weeks just for my mom to get her glasses yet. soo they call mine in and i went to get them and they were the wrong set of lenses and wrong set of frames and i told them and they just laughed in my face and told me it would be a little longer (BUT HE WAS GOIN TO USE THE DIPALY GLASSES FOR MY FRAME THAT I PAID 700 DOLLARS FOR...... WAT A JOKE THEY WILL SCAME YOU). soo then i waited another two weeks just to get my glasses and it finally came 3 weeks 2 days later. THIS PLACE SUCKS DO NOT GO RUDE PEOPLE LONG WAITS AND EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT SERVAS HE PAID FOR.

Terrible!!!! first problem was that I asked to put half the money owed as a deposit. The optician "forgot" and charged the whole amount, He told me glasses would be ready in 4 to 5 days, I was called on the 11th day to say the glasses were ready. On my way home with the new glasses, the R lens fell out of the frame as I was driving. The lens was scratched and would not stay in the frame. was told by the person who helped me at the counter that the lens was not cut properly and needed a new lens to be properly placed. 2 weeks later , the new lens was inserted and the glasses returned to me with 3 more scratches !!!!! The same optician tried to say I did it!!!!!

I love this place. I grew up around here but moved to VA 6 years ago. I come all the way from VA to get my eye exams. They are friendly, know me by my first name (despite the fact that I come once every couple years), and I have NEVER experienced a problem with any of my glasses. As a matter of fact every time I have problems with my glasses or the frames I take them back and they fix them for free.

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE IN THE WORLD!!!THE INSANE DOCTOR STOLE MY GLASSES AND IS SO INCOMPEDENT HE DOSENT EVEN KNOW HE DID IT!!! RUN FAST STAY AWAY HE SUCKS
