I was in the ER on 9/13/15, for complaints of dizziness, lightheadness to the point of ,possibly, falling because of weakness in my legs, and trembling of hands, My doctor was Dr. Toni Marcheskie. She ordered blood test, CT Scan, Xray, and a urine test. All came back as negative, but was told that the report came back, that there was some blood, some bacteria,...etc. She told me that I have an UTI . I told her, that it wasnt a bladder infection, because I would have known if I did have one. Ive had UTIs over the past 40 years(I self cath myself). If I had a UTI, I would know it, and I would be at home, in bed in so much pain, and would have had to call an ambulance to get here. I tried to tell Dr. Marcheskie, that it couldnt be a UTI. She didnt want to listen to me. SHE WAS RIGHT AND THAT WAS FINAL!!!! At the time I was asked to give a urine specimen, I saw that there was a "little person" in the room next to me and he also gave a urine specimen, at the same time. I feel that the specimens were mixed up, because when the nurse brought a urine cup in, to put one of my named sticker on it, I noticed that it was completely full. When I gave mine, of which I was only able to give a half cup, because I spilled some on the floor and it was all that I was able to get out. My thinking is that, my test was his, and his was mine. This really added to my already anxiety and depression. I hope you will look into it. Thank you. Faith Hagan P. S. It ended up, that my symptoms was because of medication(Effexor) that I was taking for depression, and had been on it for about a month. Dr. Paul Gross, finally took me off of it, and the symptoms have subsided some, but is not completely out of my system. I am still feeling some lightheaded/dizziness.

This is a terrible hospital. Their staff is lacking, and also, their administration is the worst! I recently went their for ER, and I had a $150 copay. I received the bill a week later, and called the staff to ask them if it was ok if I broke the bill into three $50 payments. The girl stated she "guesses thats ok." I sent the first payment that day. Three days later, I received a letter from a collection agency for the bill as well! I checked my credit score, which dropped 25 points for the credit referral. That same day, a collection company called National Recovery Agency called my home. I spoke with a woman named Diane. She told me she would continue the same payment plan, and that the credit blemish would be removed in 30 days, *if* I set up a direct debit from my bank account, and give over all of my banking information. I refused, stating I dont give out my banking information to anyone or any company, since I have been ripped off by another company in the past. She grew irate and told me I either give over the information, or her company would "continue further legal action against me." I told her this was completely unnecessary, since I was quite willing to pay her company, just not give over my banking information. She then stated I would hear from their legal department, and hung up. This is the type of experience you have to look forward to with Gnaden Huetten hospital. Inferior services, and strong arm, completely unnecessarily aggressive collections. Good riddance to this hospital. Ill take the extra time to go elsewhere, and would recommend everyone else that reads this do the same!

I have nothing but kind things to say. All the times when I have gone there for big time situations they treated my family with much care and kindness. The first time my son was there for pneumonia the week that he was there (age 5) they were very professional and kind. I then gave birth to a little girl there before the unit closed., I had some AWESOME doctors there. This past week I was blessed to have met Dr. Toni Marcheskie who did not let my son leave until she had ALL his results handed over. The end was he had to have an emergency appendix removal., doctor Michael Martinez did the procedure and not once did we feel lost. The nurses were great, they checked on us and showed that they were doing this from their heart. I have been billed by them for my co payments and never have had a problem. This is the only hospital that we go to. The staff from the childrens side, Rick, Barbara, Steve and Maria are very professional. I would recommend this Hospital. Sometimes because EVERYONE is there the wait is a little long but worth the wait., and when it has been a real emergency they have gotten us in.

I dont know where they found the nurse named Rose that was working in ER but she is definitely very unprofessional. I have never in my life seen someone act like it is such a hard time to do the job she is there getting paid for. If you dont actually do the things that your supposed to as a medical professional then you should prolly look into getting a job in retail or something. She was actually grossed out by what she had to do and refused to do it. So in conclusion. If you wanna be a Registered Nurse. Make sure you keep in mind the things your job actually calls for and just hope and pray your life isnt left anywhere near her hands. She might lose it if you get some blood on her.

Brought my son to Emergency Dept. MISTAKE. My 6 yr. old son had kidney surgery in May at CHOP and I was told that if he had any recurring episodes of pain to take him right to the emergency room to get an ultrasound done. The doctors wanted to see his kidney function while he was having the pain. I arrived at this hospital and I told the admissions women about my sons situation. I said, "He needs to be seen as quickly as possible." An older woman with short dirty-blond hair and glasses preceded to chuckle. She actually laughed when I said that. I then said, "Is that funny?" She said, "No, no." I couldnt believe it. I will never, ever, EVER, go there again. Unprofessional and repugnant.

My child was brought to the Lehighton emergency dept.by ambulance on 8/16/17 (after a horrible experience at a different hospital earlier in the week). The doctor on duty at BMHS was very professional and encouraging (unfortunately, I cant remember his name). Our nurse, Jessica, was wonderful. The crisis team at this hospital is fantastic. Chris worked well into the night to start the process to get my child the help he needed. In the morning, Lori took over and finalized the details and got us on our way. I truly can not thank them enough. I know theyd say they were just doing their job, but I felt they really cared about the outcome for my child.

Rehab. Just starting on Monday, however, most the RNs and assistance are very nice and compassionate. At first I wasnt sure about the facility and was very upset about an issue I had with not enough ice packs to go around. My neck was throbing with pain from surgery and swelling. However after todays care, and pretty much pain free, I needed to be fair and say I would recommend this facility for rehab. Again, the RNS and all others were very concerned and compassionate, especially an RN named John. Thankyou for your help to recovery.
