This dental office is by far the worst dental office that Ive ever been to. The dentist that treated me, Dr. Moon, is an incompetent fool who does not know how to interact with his patients at all. I tried to tell him that some of my teeth were chipped a few weeks prior and as a result cavities were already starting to form on them but he kept telling me impatiently that there werent any chips at all; I could literally feel the chips with my tongue. Then for some reason he got up and left the room for awhile and when he came back and observed my teeth again, he grudgingly admitted that my teeth were chipped and agreed to fix them. He did not use any numbing gel prior to applying anesthesia to the gum surrounding the affected teeth and to make matters worse, he applied the shot as if he was trying to throw a javelin into my mouth; needless to say it was quite painful. Also, I cant remember the name of the dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth but she did such a horrible job that when I left the office, my teeth still had plaques all over them! She was also beyond rude and she was constantly chatting with her co-workers in Russian the whole time she was working on my teeth... very unprofessional. Overall, the treatment that I received here was so bad to the point that I had to go back to my previous dentist (whose office is about an hour away) in a month just to get a decent cleaning. I would never, ever visit their office again and I highly recommend others to stay away from this place.

More than 5 stars! I have been a patient at Dentex Dental for a few years and have always been very satisfied with the dentists, dental assistants and office staff! Very nice front desk staff, especially Polina! Dr. Genkins is great, I highly recommend him. I have had severe tooth pain for 2 days and when I called to explain my situation, even though they had a very full patient schedule, Polina and Dr. Genkins fit me in to be seen because of the pain I was in. I ended up having an emergency root canal and Dr. Genkins was great. Not only is he very good at what he does (he has done other dental work on me) and very efficient, he also goes out of his way to make sure I am comfortable and relaxed. He explains everything thoroughly before, during and after the procedure. He also checks to make sure I am not in pain at any point and it doesnt hurt that he is very funny too lol. The best part is that he was able to save my tooth which was in very bad shape! Thank you Dentex Dental!!!

I have had problems with this place from the beginning. I had root canals done and crown work done with them. The doctor I had was very nice but the crown popped off a total of 3-4 times. I kept going back because I was always scared to eat. I was assured that it wild be replaced at no cost by the doctor last year. Since then the doctor at the office has left and now they conveniently do not have any record of this. I am now being forced to pay once again for a faulty crown. On top of that, their office staff is always very rude. I was told I would receive a phone call back from the manager the day of our conversation. I never did. They called me to remind me of an appointment and didnt even remember that we had talked about the manager giving me a phone call. Never pleasant with these people. All in all I would not recommend this office. Very unprofessional. My wife and I will be taking our business elsewhere.

So, I could not start my car to get there, got splashed from a passing car, my phone died under the rain, stuck waiting for my wife to give me a ride there, so day was ruined (at least I sought so). But then I got to Dentex. Insted of a few generations of wait for a torture on root canal, I got my treatment as soon as walked in. Front desk was ready for me long time before my arrival, my insurance was filed and ready, my dentist.... no, my magician (Dr. Plotnik if remember it correctly) after putting me in, what I sought before a torture chair, did a job of his life time, easy, fast, painless... magical. So of my usual expectations of spending a half day at the doctors office, I was in and out in less then an hour. And thats not all, I knew I have a good insurance, but hell, no co pay? p.s. Day saved, tooth survived, mood is great, Dentex rules. Im a life time pacient, but, hope not to see you soon guys :)

I am SO happy my cousin recommended Dentex Dental to me!!! I was very nervous going into my initial consult with Dr. Levites, but everything went great. After her assistant took an x-ray, we all looked it over together & made up a treatment plan for a root canal and a few fillings. Luckily there was a cancellation for a teeth cleaning 30 minutes after & I jumped at the chance. My hygienist was great just like the Doctor. Very gentle & comforting, as any medical procedure makes me nervous. Finally, the receptionist helped me to schedule all my appointments and was very accommodating with my varying work schedule. I have already given friends and family the phone number to Dentex and will continue to recommend the office to anyone who asks.

Worst dentist ever, Dr. moon has the personality of a limp noodle, and he seems to hate his job. Why become a doctor if you hate people or not a people person. My mouth is infected and he tells me it is not. So i go to my family doctor and its infected. Oh well needless to say i will not be going back to this practice and i would suggest anyone thinking about going here to find another doctor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Oh one more thing, there is never any patients in this office, should have been a sign. also checked my bill on my insurance and he charged me over 300 for a 10 minute office visit where he basically said three words to me.

I love my dentist Dr. Genkin, however, I am not a big fan of the dental hygienist. Shes extremely rough and really rude. If I could change anything I would request a new hygienist. Other than that Ive had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Genkin and the other staff. So good that my family now goes there. I also like the fact that my dentist has late hours. Thats absolutely perfect for me because I work 8-4 in the city and I can make it to the office in time for a 6 oclock appointment. Love this place, wouldnt go anywhere else!

As I climb up the stairs there is upbeat music playing, putting me in a good mood, something Im not used to when visiting any sort of medical office. Then there are the friendly receptionists & finally, my Dr. I love that he is very knowledgeable & serious about what he does, but willing to crack jokes to put me even more at ease. All in all, I had a great first visit & cant wait to come back!!!!
