City Health Centers are extremely helpful to the community. They are low-cost clinics - insurance is not needed. These Health Centers offer many services such as Prenatal Care, Family Planning (birth control), Gyn, Pediatrics, Adult Medicine, and Dental. They have their own ON-SITE labs, pharmacies, and xray departments that can be utilized by their patients. If you know someone who is struggling (with or without insurance) to afford medical care - please suggest a city health center. A lot of Philadelphians do not know about their services. Spread the word!

They need a better way to help people to communicate with them I called and I was told that there was a 45 minute wait to speak to a representative I was on the phone for 4 hours and then it hung up on me I called back it said the expected wait time is 67 minutes there is no way I should have to wait this long to get a doctors appointment....... I have never had this kind of experience with any other doctor Ive ever been to.

Slowly but surely they are getting better. They used to have some of the most disrespectful people with nasty and foul attitudes! I clearly remember several staff members getting cursed out and threatened for talking to patients so crude. They still have a way to go but they are getting better.

Very slow considering it is not busy. I hear the staff socializing and laughing but yet no one is being seen. Very rude staff with attitude problems.
