I had been to many vets with my dog. When I found Piper Vet I was so relieved. They are so good to your furry friend. They really make your pets feel safe and comfortable when they are there. Getting down on the floor to pet and talk with her before and during each exam. That went such a long way to ease Mollys fears of going to the doctor. Every test and procedure they did over the years for various illnesses, was about what was right for my dog, not about the money. They would recommend things to be done or not done according to her comfort and stage in life. My dog lived to be over 14 years old - quite old for her breed. Dr Jim and Dr Janet took the time, each time I was in the office to talk with me about what to expect and how we all would make her transition to the next life as comfortable as possible. I asked for their advice 7 months ago, deciding if my aging dog should have liver surgery. With their help, I decided to place her on a no pick, no poke policy and allowed her to live her last 7 months healthy, happy and free of pain. She still received medical care from them during this time, but it was non-invasive care. In the end, Molly passed on a weekend evening when Dr Jim or Dr. Janet were not available. That was hard for me to have an emergency clinic help Molly pass on, as I felt she was their friend too. That is how good and caring this practice is!! Look no where else for the most compassionate, skilled care available!!!

My 6 pound toy Yorkie had extensive dental surgery at Piper Vet. I was nervous because she is 11 years old and tiny. The staff and Dr. Jim were supportive and professional. After three hours of surgery and removal of ten teeth Chloe was groggy but okay. They showed me how to brush her teeth (she likes it thanks to the chicken flavored toothpaste). I recommend Piper Vet to any pet owner, and especially those who own a toy dog.
