***Must Read***. The specialties claimed that Chelwayne Animal Hospital is caring, affordable, professional veterinary care for your pets, BELIVE IT!!! Heres why........ On the 4th of July, my 12lb mini schnauzer was hit by a car. Immediately I took her to the animal emergency room in South Philly because they were the animal hospital open because of the holiday. They stated to me that I would have to pay over $1,000 for testing along with the $109 ER visit. How can I think of money at a time like this, I was too worried for my dog. So I took her home with pain medication and later followed up with another animal hospital. As I was making my way to the SPCA when I saw Chelwayne Animal Hospital. I thought to myself "why should I go out of my way to the hospital when theres one not to far from where I live". I met Bill (Vets Husband), who was VERY understanding and patient with my situation. Because the office is being remodeled from Dr. Mins, he was able to take my dog to Manayunk to see Dr. Jessica Jones (Highly Recommended). She later called and stated that my dog is doing better than expected, she would only need antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication and it should be able to come home the very next day! She offered to take my dog home just to watch her overnight which I agree. Dr. Jones and her husband took care of my dog as if it was their own. They were able to stay in contact with me through the entire process, answered any questions or concerns that I had and most importantly they were able to satisfy all my dogs needs including mine, though Im pretty sure I was being a pain in the butt. Im so happy that I was able to find them!!! I dont normally write reviews but Dr. Jones and her husband definitely deserve a highly recommended, positive, 5-star review. Esta veterinaria cambio de nombre, ahora se llama One love. Las personas q atienden son encantadoras, súper amables. La Doctora que ha atendido a mi perra y mi gato es muy buena, aunque hemos solo hemos ido para exámenes y vacunas de rutina. La última vez, dejamos a mi perra en guardería, al parecer todo estuvo muy bien porque ella regreso de muy buen ánimo. Los precios son muy razonables.

Ive been to several different veterinarians and one thing I have to say about this place is theyre very very nice they help in any way they can and they really do care about the animals and they will also help you if youre strapped for money I really like this place a lot and the veterinarians are awesome I would recommend this place to everyone and you dont need to make an appointment

The best vet in the area by far! Dr. Jones is personable and knowledgeable. She owns 2 locations (Now including this one). She has always provided great advice and diagnosis for Meeka (my lab). This location is also very reasonable on pricing :) Would recommend to any family or friends.

I love this place they took care of my felines and now my dog.they are very respectfull and they care I recommend this place to a lot of people that I know and dont know. I have been with this doctor since 2000 and its 2015 Thats how good they are and I plan to be with them longer.

My dog was not groomed he was picked at .. Than they forgot to give him his shots had to come back the next day and so they can do his ears and shots .... Will not be taking him back ... Wish you luck
