BEWARE, the doctor is incompetent, abusive, narsissistic, filled with ego and is defensive . On His complication days after surgery he has patients waiting for over an hour , then pretends he had an emergency, His sychophant, brown nosing crony and PA Zak Koban enables his lies and poor behavior . When I brought up a horrible consequence of dr. Heils work, he said " dont be ridiculous " as they try to stonewall patients. They have a slew of unhappy patients and word of mouth is everything. Their staff, sandy, Mary, Maria all of them are taught to displace phone calls by leaving people on line for long periods or for hanging up on them. Another tactic is to forward your call to their voice mail to prevent talking to you. Dr heil could care less if you are happy or if procedures went well. He doesnt give full disclosure of medical complications but 15 minutes before surgery, he has you sign off on your life on various, lengthy documents that are to protect him. Go elsewhere......RUN I had countless folllwups for complications and nothing improved. Heil kept saying to me ". Massage the areas affected" he also said everything evens out in a year . NO IT DIDNT! Then they stopped receiving my calls period. The entire staff has to cover for him. They dont sit patients together or allow complication date patients to mingle . In fact heil advertises extensively in airline magazines to promote himself as one of Americas best doctors . He also advertises in the north hills journal, area papers. Great doctors never advertise but his word of mouth from prior patients is terrible . Heil will do any procedure for money not for ethics. He did a procedure on my legs I had excruciating burning pain after waking up in recovery. I had a friend in with me who ordered that I be sent to a hospital if they couldnt control the pain. Only then did they offer pain meds. Dr heil became enraged during an office visit ,mocked me and belittled me . Him and zak are bullies . He made faces at me even. Or was unreal and highly insulting and unprofessional I have asked for multiple medical reports of my procedures. Heil and zak refuse to send them. He is breaking a HIPAA federal violation by doing so and I have involved civil rights in Washington DC about this. He is being investigated I have no positive benefits from his procedures, only stiffness, numbness and scarring, I am horrified . At one office visit, the doctor became irate and unstable and said. "Im done" Going to him was my most regrettable life experience. He is a manipulative , evil, incompetent , defensive, greedy, flagrant ... BEWARE OF ALL THE GLORIFIED FEEDBACK OF HIM ON HIS OWN WEBSITE, HE PAYS FOR THOSE STARS AMD GLORIFIED WRITEUPS. NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ALWAYS HOLDS MORE WEIGHT! You simply cannot trust this clown on surgery or business practices .he has a lot of angry patients . When I posted other reviews , 2 patients of his has questions for me and they had similar stories to tell of being dismissed, hung up on or lied to and mistreated. He prevents transparency by hiding facts. They take hundreds of photos of your before and after a but wont share them with you. I even gave him a DVD to download images as well as my email. They flatly refuse to do so which is in violation of federal HIPAA LAWS. LASTLY, he sells this $45 or so cream that is snake oil......its garbage but he insists patients buy it after surgery. I told him it didnt work . He just defended it . His surgical center is t equipped to handle patients in distress like a hospital. His center is designed to draw in the most profit for him and give him all the control. HEIL IS A CONTEOL FREAK ANS A VERY INSECURE PERSON. I WATCHED HIM BALLOON UP WITH 30 lbs of weight in one year . He has deep psychological problems not dealt with. He was abusive to me before he calmed down to apologize for his behavior. Stay away from this loser. He is scary. Dont be deceived by smiles , ease of making appointments or the lobby......... Remember the staff want to keep their jobs, they arent there to protect you.

Worse place ever! Got a tattoo removal procedure done many times, over the course of two years. I still have the tattoo, then on my last trip, I got an infection and they refused to help me. The secretary put me on hold for 10 minutes at a time, I would hang up and call back and each time she said that she picked up whenever I hung up the phone to call again. Fat lies! Another secretary picked up the phone and asked me how I knew the area was infected, I told her the symptoms and she said she had to call me back. Next they called me back and they put me on hold, wouldnt get me the person I needed to speak to. I finally got a call back from another secretary and I told them I was on the way to the emergency room and she put me on hold again. They wouldnt help me, even though I was in pain and asking what to do so the infection wouldnt get worse, yet no one cares. I ended up going to the hospital and having to pay more to do so, get an antibiotic and all of this when the physician at Aqua Blu could have called in a prescription for an antibiotic but instead had to spend several hours getting my infection professionally cleaned, wrapped, get antibiotics and all it took from Aqua Blu was one phone call. The staff is very inexperienced, rude, disresptful and they dont know how to treat their customers at all. The customer should be their number one priority because without their customer they wouldnt have a business. I will never recommend this place to anyone or ever go back. Phooey!

I had a mole on my forehead since birth and it started to itch and change colors. Also had some scaly, itchy areas on my ear that were bothering me. Went to the dermatologist, Dr. Busquett @ ABMS to get the areas checked out. They recommended removal of the suspicious mole and treatment for the pre-cancerous lesions on my ears (AK confirmed from biopsy). Went to their surgery center in Wexford (goes by Premier Plastic Surgery) to have the mole removed by the plastic surgeon, Dr. Heil, since it was in the middle of my forehead. Great experience there - taken back quickly, prepped and had the procedure done under local numbing agent. Very happy with results as there is no evidence of a scar whatsoever. Regarding the AK, had a procedure with light therapy and some kind of drug that they painted on my face. The light activates the drug which kills the cancer cells. They were really good about informing me that the procedure would feel like a real bad sunburn. It did! I did a lot of research on the web before and everyone said the same thing - its the way the drug works. They put a mini hose with cool air blowing on my face to ease the discomfort. After that they gave me the right creams and products to take care of my face while it healed. Overall, very pleased with the experience and would recommend to anyone who asked where to go.

Booked my appointment 3 weeks ago. I was pleased when I first called them. They asked for me to fill out the information online so they can verify that they accept my insurance. I was told if they dont accept the insurance they will call before my appointment. I didnt get a call but did get a confirmation text reminding me of the appointment for today at 12:30. I cant express how frustrating it is to book your day around a doctors appointment to show up and be told they dont take your insurance!!!!! How is it possible routine paperwork was over looked and I wasnt notified? Its sad the customer service of this facility has now taken away from the fact that the doctor could be great. Without Insurance the office visit cost is $150. It would have great if I would have been offered a coupon for the cost of the visit to use for one of the many other services they offer. Instead I was told "sorry" and just looked at until I turned and walked out the door. I will not come back!
