I was not looking forward to a root canal (but really, is anybody?!), so much so that I put it off for several months until I couldnt procrastinate any longer. I begrudgingly made an appointment and when I went for the procedure, I was pleasantly surprised: it went about as smoothly as a dental procedure could go. Dr. Kang reassured me that I would not, in fact, die during the procedure and allowed me to close my eyes like a child when he put the huge needle in my face to give me novocaine. Dr. Kang knows what hes doing and he and his nurses really go the extra mile to do an excellent job on your teeth and keeping you from the emotional scarring that is dental work in general. He explained everything he was doing, made sure to give you novocaine and didnt start until I was completely numb, and let me pick my own pandora station to listen do during the procedure! I felt absolutely ZERO pain- before I knew it, he was all done! All in all, a great experience. I cant say I want to visit him again (because that would mean I have to get another root canal), but if I have to in the future, hes the best guy to go to. Dont be scared by the one negative review you may find online- that person clearly doesnt know what theyre talking about. Dr. Kang is quite literally the best at providing the expertise needed in a less-than-fun procedure. I 100% recommend Dr. Kangs office. I survived a root canal and you can too, I promise! Go to Dr. Kang and youll be fine.

In the world, I’m sure there is no one could like to go dentistry. During two days, almost I couldn’t sleep any moment due to the pain. Finally, I gave up myself to meet Dr. Kang M Lee to allow a treatment for the root canal. I always remember that it was very painful and hard to endure the time during the treatment. But, this is absolutely different experience than before! When I enter his office, staffs are very friendly and the atmosphere is nothing like the others. Sophisticated working needed Legos are displayed through the hall and lightings, colors makes me warm. Soon after, Dr. Lee came in and started counseling regarding the situation of my root canal and explained how he will treat it. It was very knowledgeable and thoughtful explanation even though I have no idea about the root canal and the treatment. During his treatment, he made me very comfortable and staffs were great. Thankfully his sophisticated work, I slept much easier that night and now everything is normal!! Dr. Kang M Lee, hi is the BEST!!

I am a dentist and I refer all of my patients to this practice; its not just Dr. Lees bedside manner that is impressive, but his technical abilities are nothing short of extraordinary. Most patients dont realize that good technique can be the difference between a successful and failed long-term root canal. It is such a rare find to have someone with such amazing bedside manner and technical abilities under one roof. I am embarrassed to say that I had to undergo my first (and hopefully last) root canal this week so I can finally write a meaningful review first-hand. While I was in the reception area, I met a fellow who had traveled from Reading to see Dr. Lee. He said, "My dentist told me that he knows its far, but this is the place to go.". I had originally posted a very negative review based solely on a situation occurring with the financial aspect regarding the office and my insurance company. Dr. Lee called me personally to resolve the situation and come to a mutual agreement both of us felt was fair. I found this to be as 5 star as the actual work he did on my teeth. I appreciate him going above and beyond to resolve the situation and so I am editing my very negative 1 star review, to a very positive 5 star review. He is a fantastic Endodontist and the work he did was stellar, which I want to stress was never in question when I posted my negative review. He also did not call me with an attitude or on the defense when he called me after seeing the negative review to discuss the situation. He deserves 5 stars and I am happy to edit my review to reflect that.

My dentist sent me to this place (Pottstown) for a root canal work. The staff was good, nice and friendly. I had to move my appointment for the next day, they did it with no problem. Dr. Neal Applestein and his assistant were great, explained me everything with no rush, and fixed my teeth very professionally! I had no pain at all. Just once in the beginning of drilling something bothered me, he noticed my reaction right away and fixed all that. Looks like Ill have a couple of root canals more to be fixed as my dentist said, I WILL definitely go to this place, they know their job perfectly! Recommend to anyone who wants a perfect treatment!

I just visited Dr. Neal Applestein for a root canal. I was treated exceptionally well from the time I stepped into the door until I left. I found the office staff to be friendly and extremely good at handling my insurance. Dr. Applestein and his assistant were top-drawer professional and gave me the impression they knew exactly what they were doing from start to finish. I felt NO pain at any time, including the initial injection. They gave me ample time to ask questions and never rushed me. This outfit knows what they are doing! Based upon my visit I would recommend this dental office to anyone who expects the best care available.

I am deathly afraid of dentists and have had three root canals from different dentists over the years. Dr. Lee performed my root canal and understood my trepidation. I had no pain whatsoever. Unfortunately, I will be having another one in a few weeks. The fact that I am going back to Dr. Lee should tell you the quality of the work he does.

I hate dental work so I was looking forward to another root canal. But, Dr Lee was professional, careful, and helped me relax. I even had an opportunity to choose the music I wanted to listen to while he did the procedure. Having my teeth worked on will never be a "great" experience but this one was pretty close.
