Caribbean Hot Spot

Despite any other reviews I have read, I absoultely recommend Dr. Pyke to any and all fellow parents, for their children. My son, Matthew, BEGS to go do the dentist on a daily basis because of this man. He makes the appointments fun, enjoyable, and most importantly, comfortable, for his patients. Also in regards to previous reviews about the staff, we have not personally come across any issues with his staff. However, for those who said that they have, my son is there to see Dr. Pyke, not the staff. I would put my personal differences aside if it meant going somewhere that my son thoroughly enjoyed and liked going to. The doctor, as well as his assistants, are very good at putting "scary" medical terminology into comfortable and "child-friendly" terms. They are always great about rewarding my son for wonderful behavior at the office with little toys, trinketts, and coupons for local restaurants. They even give free coupons to my fiance and myself to use when taking our son to those spots. I highly, highly recommend this office, to the point where I wish that they accepted adult patients into their practice, as our entire family would visit. The adjacent orthodontic office, with Dr. Jones-Rudolph, is phenonemal as well, and we will be bringing our son there in the future, as needed!

After trying many dentists closer to my home, we decided to take our kids a bit further of a drive, back to my pediatric dentist from when I was a kid, and couldnt be happier about our decision. Dr. Pyke is the best there is. He is the only dentist I trust. He seals the molars so kids cant get cavities, never tries to upsell and truly loves the kids. My kids love their visits with him. We havent had any issues with their staff. In fact, when billing has been messed up they worked with me to get everything straightened out. Having gone there for the past 30 years for both myself and kids, and never have had a cavity or issue sums it up.

Sheep in Wolves clothing. For a "professional" (using that term lightly) who promotes PATIENCE in regards to the childs dentistry experience I am highly disappointed and am debating on whether to complain to the ADA- American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. My Three year old will never want to go to the dentist ever again after being screamed at. She cried all the way home as did I. Please find someone else who still has the passion and the patience and the desire to connect with their "small" clientele rather than just trying to make it to retirement.

I had the same experience as the other reviewer, Matt. My children saw Dr. Zale there, who is no longer with the practice. I always pay for my appointments right there, never asked to be billed. Last time I tried to make an appointment, the office staff person was very cold and rude and we were also told we are not allowed to come back! This was over a matter of $20 (!?) that I was apparently billed after the last appointment, that I never received a phone call I owed or I would have promptly paid it off. Bottom line, no consideration and respect.

I love Dr. Pyke, the issue is his staff is terrible. They are snotty and ignorant. They also have no interest in helping when you call, as if they have anything better to do than their jobs. The ladies have no idea what they are doing, and give issue if you have schedule issues. I am sorry that we are a 2 parent, full time, working household, but its an inconvenience for these girls to look further and try to help. I have never experienced such a terrible staff, and unfortunately thats why we cant see the wonderful Dr.

Took my very wiggly and sensitive 3 year old boy to Dr. Pyke today for his first ever dental visit. Kathy, the hygienist, was absolutely AMAZING with him. Ive never seen him so easy to deal with on ANYTHING before, much less a teeth cleaning and exam. He even let her floss his teeth with giggles. Dr. Pyke was also incredible with him. Very child friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. Loved it there. Was a really wonderful experience, and I was stressing it. They made it SO easy. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful working with my 4yr old. She was afraid at her first appointment and letting them near her mouth. After a few appointments to ease her in so we could finally get her to let them work on her teeth- she loves going to this office and actually looks forward to her appointments. Dont know how this place only has a 3 star rating on google. seems like its been open a long while and is a popular pediatric dental office.

I personally went to Dr. Pyke 30+ years ago as a child. I in turn, took my own children. He is fantastic, unfortunately his office staff is TERRIBLE. We were told we are not allowed to come back as patients b/c his staff billed me incorrectly & hence had to wait a lengthy time to get paid by my insurance company. I would NOT reccommend putting yourself what I have just put myself through with them.

Dr. Pyke is very silly with the kids, but dont let that fool you. He is very serious about the work he does and honestly cares about every child. He will level with you about what your children need for dental care and will take the time to explain everything to you & your children. Im sad that my kids are starting to outgrow the pediatric dentist, but I wont miss Dr. Pykes singing. :0

I would not recommend Dr. Pyke as a pediatric dentist. HIs antics with the children are annoying and inapropriate. His staff is rude. He and his staff do not value your business. He is not good with children at all.

Dr Pyle was my dentist my entire childhood and Im finding it hard to believe the rating is only a 2.8... I loved him. Im about to make my both kids appointments with him.

Staff is rude.... always looking to up-sell on childrens services. I gave good dental insurance, yet, always get billed for hundreds of dollars after each visit.

My children have been going to Dr. Pyke for over 10 years and I think he is superb. His staff is very helpful and professional.
