If I could give this place no stars I would. It all started with me needing a new pair of contacts. I had previously gone to walmart for contacts/prescription but visionworks was having a special so I figured I could save a few bucks. BIG MISTAKE. It took three visits before I got my contacts. For all the hassle I couldve spent essentially the same amount of time and money by going to walmart for the eye exam and ordering my contacts online (which is what Id done before). At my first visit I was given the exam by a woman who appeared to be in training and had to have someone else walk her through everything which made everything take longer. I was then seen by the doctor who seemed like she was in a rush. I was given a pair of contacts on the spot. Initially I thought, "Oh, how nice of them!" I really shouldnt have. The doctor appeared irritated/impatient when I was trying on the contacts and having a hard time getting the one in. Also they charged me $40 for the single pair; I wasnt informed by the doctor or anyone else by the price until after they were already in and I was checking out. Also, I was then informed I had to schedule a followup visit to make sure everything was "working out fine." I was given a prescription for what I though was the contacts. WRONG. I found out later that this was for glasses but when I asked why I wasnt given one for contacts initially, the lady replied, "Idk, youd have to ask the doctor that." I also picked out a pair of glasses as well and was given the impression when I came for the followup visit the glasses would be ready for me then. WRONG AGAIN. My second visit I was told that the glasses I Had picked up not only were not ready but were never filled. I was also informed that they had not done so because they could not order anything (apparently glasses or contacts) until I had the followup visit. This seemed strange to me since I did not have this issue at all with walmart: I was given the eye exam, script for contacts AND a new pair of glasses all the same day/visit. I think they just forgot and never placed the order. So I had to order the contacts and wait another week until they came in. My third visit to pick up the contacts, I thought I would finally be given my prescription for the contacts which I had never received throughout this whole process, but I had to specifically ask them for it and even then I was only given a copy. I was glad to finally be done with this place but unfortunately theres more to the story. There appears to be a flaw with the contacts I was sold because the first pair I walked out with were fine and I had no problems with. I switched to the ones I was sold since the others were temporary. The first pair were ok but starting giving me problems after 3 weeks. Thinking they were just getting old I switched to a second pair (since I had gotten a 6 month supply). The second pair were even worse. Barely into a week after wearing them the contact for my right eye appears to have some sort of residue on it that cannot be washed off and irritates my eye because you cant see clearly out of it. Its gotten to the point that I dont even want to wear the contacts. So essentially I wasted my money and the whole experience has left me very frustrated and dissatisfied. If you go online you can see dozens of other negative reviews about this place. TRUST THEM, DO NOT GO HERE. EVER. EVEN IF YOURE DESPERATE. ITS NOT WORTH IT. ITS A TOTAL RIPOFF (and you will most likely regret it, like I did.)

Let me preface this by saying I have been to multiple eye care places and Ive worn glasses and contacts for 10+ years. As with any office where you will be treated you must keep track of all paperwork and ask questions. The staff was friendly and took care of me in a timely manner. Contact lense fitting was $40 which I pretty much expected to pay. The doctor was very friendly and relatively fast. There is a big selection of frames available to try which is nice. Overall so far my experience with them has been pretty good, I have no complaints thus far. I am only receiving an eye exam for glasses and contacts however. I am not purchasing frames or contacts through them so I cannot comment on that experience. It did seem though while I was here they did try to upsell a few customers on glasses, but were very open about costs. (overheard other conversations while I waited for my eyes to dialate) I think its a decent office and I had no trouble here, so dont be scared off from negative reviews. Know your insurance, know what you want, and your experience will go well.

Awful place. Please do not go here and support their horrible business. The staff are down right liars. They lie about the promise date, lie about calling you when stuff is ready, claim they called you but never did. And if you ask to speak to a manager, whoever you are speaking with at that moment will LIE and claim they are the manager. The guy I was speaking with had the gall to say he was the manager when a week ago he told me he was new and had never ordered lenses before. Another staff member also told me he was new. Thats the fastest promotion to manager Ive ever seen. Then when I told him I didnt believe him he got snarky and rude, "actually, I AM the manager." Yeah, okay. Sure. The other staff member told me they had two managers and one was in the hospital and the other was out because they were sick. Neither fit his bill. It took me a whole month for me to get my glasses completed with them cause they take so long and gave me faulty lenses the first time. Never going back and I implore you again to not go there. Save yourself the stress.

The OD was excellent! Unfortunately the rest of the staff was not and I had a very poor customer service experience. The rep. I spoke with on the phone was very confused while scheduling my appt. Once I arrived at the store the same rep.attempted to sell me various upgrades, even after I clearly stated I was not interested. I was also told my insurance does not cover any of the cost for eyeglasses. This is completely false because the insurance company referred me to this business because they are in "network". The rep. refused to provide the base cost of glasses without the upgrades, which totaled $380+ tax (for single vision glasses). I became so aggravated by the pushey sales tactic, I paid for the exam only and left. I will buy my glasses elsewhere and never return to this location.

Customer service at this location is awful. The waits are terrible, staff is unprofessional (doctors included) and they lied to me more than once. I witnessed a doctor casually fling a chart onto the ground, staff bickering on the floor and when I called to see if my glasses were ready, they were not. This was 12 days after ordering. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the gentleman I was speaking to was the manager to find out the next day when the ACTUAL manager called me back I WAS NOT speaking to a manager just a trainee. Im still waiting on my glasses. Big thumbs down.
