We have been very happy with the service and attention we have received as patients at this office. They were very accommodating to me, when I was dealing with ocular migraines. I felt the doctor and office staff went above and beyond ruling everything out and working to find contact lenses that would work for me. At the time, there wasnt a lens on the market that had what I needed (daily disposable and an irregular astigmatism adjustment) but they gave me several options and worked patiently to find the best solution available at the time. Because of insurance changes we were not going there for a few years. Recently, I took my 8 year-old-daughter to be fitted. She raved about her exam! She felt that the doctor and optician gave her great attention and let her try every frame in the store and some from the back, until she found the pair that was a perfect fit. Instead of just handing us a prescription, they spent time with her explaining how to rest and exercise her eyes while reading in order to strengthen her weaker eye and thwart further deterioration of her vision. We were extremely happy with the service we received. The office staff has always been kind and willing to do whatever they can to fit into our schedule for appointments, fittings, and contact checks. We really appreciate the customer service here and recommend the office!

The employees of Westgate Optical have the worst customer service ever!!!! Both the doctor and the opticians are extremely rude, and treat you as if you were not a paying customer. The only reason I gave Westgate optical a try was because I changed insurance companies and my previous doctor did not accept my new insurance. Please do not waste your time and find a new eye doctor. Besides their bad customer service, I have been wearing contacts for the past ten year and never experienced discomfort or any problem with my eyes/lenses, until I gave Westgate Optical a try, and now I have an inflammatory corneal. May not be his fault, but his customer service is horrible!!! Stay away!!!

My experience was the exact opposite of the previous review. I called the office the day I was leaving for a vacation and asked if I could be squeezed in due to eye discomfort. Not only did the receptionist have me come in, but I didnt even have to wait very long to be seen. The doctor took his time with me and relieved my concerns while providing a simple plan for improvement. His recommendations proved effective almost immediately. The entire process was handled in a smooth, efficient and supportive way that I truly appreciated.
