The first time I went in there, I was getting my wisdom tooth checked, because it was bothering me, but my dentist told me they wouldnt come in, so I was worried. When I went in, I filled out the paperwork then waited for an hour and fifteen minutes to get some x-rays taken. Then they took me back to sit in a room that wasnt private and I waited there for another 15 minutes until the dentist came in and started cleaning my teeth. I said, "I dont need my teeth cleaned, they were cleaned two months ago." He said, "Oh, then what are you here for?" SERIOUSLY?! So I told him, he grabbed the sharp tool they use to scratch crud off your teeth and pushed down on the sensitive gums covering my wisdom tooth ans said, "Does that hurt?" And of course it did. Only THEN did he look at the x-rays and said, "Yep, you have all four of your wisdom teeth." I already knew that...Ive been getting x-rays done regularly. So then he said, "Youre going to have to get them pulled, oh and you have a cavity." Like it was no big deal. He could tell by the x-rays that I had never had a cavity before so I was devastated and he didnt seem to show any sympathy or compassion. Finally, he said, "You can set up an appointment with the girl out there to get them removed." And he walked away. I knew I wouldnt be going back there for the surgery, which was fine. I got them taken out elsewhere and all went extremely well. Now, I wouldnt be writing this if they hadnt severely ticked me off, so here is the rest of the story. I called them today to get my x-rays sent to someone else, because I was switching dentists due to me moving out of the area. The woman answered the phone and I said, "Hi, I was wondering if you could send my x-rays to my new dentist." The woman gave me a REALLY big attitude and said, "Um, no. You can come in...and fill out a release form, and then we can GIVE them to you." This was so uncalled for and unprofessional. I would never trust them to touch my teeth and after the EXTREMELY bad customer service, I can easily say I will tell everyone to steer clear of them at all costs. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!

1st visit was for x-ray. Once that was done, I waited 45 minutes in the room for Amanda to come check me out . Since no one came in after 45 minutes I went out the main office to look for Amanda to check out. They told me i should just wait on the room until she comes to talk to me. 2nd visit was a follow up of the first one for 2 fillings. 2 fillings for this visit. 1 was fine, the other went too deep into my nerve causing me to require a root canal. (At the time I didnt know what happen other then I was in pain and my cheeks were swollen.) 3rd visit was to talk to the doctor about the pain on the tooth that had the filling in. He told me it was because I need a root canal. He Wrights up a referral and hands it to me. I asked him if I could get an x-ray. He says yes I get my x-ray He looks at the x-ray then says to me "oh I see why your i pain." I look over and the filling is touching my root causing the pain. The dentist then takes the referral and rips it up and tells me to make an appointment for a root canal. At this point Im like okay so the dentist that did the work messed up and messed my teeth in the process. So he would pay for his own mistake right? Wrong on my 4th visit to the office they try to charge me $500 just for the root canal. The reason they said they were charging me was because my teeth was decaying. I told them Im not paying for someone else mistake. So I asked for an x-ray and went to a different dentist. The 2nd dentist told me i should of never gotten the 2 filling in the first place. And the dentist did make a mistake. This office only charged about $80 for the root canal. In other words I would NEVER go back and I hope everyone else stay from Aspen dental, it will be the worst mistake you can make.

I havent written a bad review in my life but I feel I need to now. I was a patient a few years ago. I have since found a dentist that I trust. My estimated bill at aspen for treatment was over 3 thousand dollars. Feeling the need to get the work done- I agreed- signed the paperwork- etc. I had x-rays, two root canals, two crowns, a few cavities filled, and so on. Fast Forward: One tooth needed re-done completely after it began to basically deteriorate. My crowns look like I made them myself. They are a complete eyesore, bulky and caused an ulcer on my gums at one point. I had already paid for four more visits and I chose not to go back. Fast Forward Again: I had to make a last minute appointment with my new dentist today because of a stabbing pain in one of my molars. A possible reason for this pain would be that my teeth werent able to fit together correctly when I bite down for such a long time...My crowns. Aspen did far more to hurt me than to help me. They are a waste of time and a big waste of money. They seem welcoming, though only a third of the staff was actually nice to me. Maybe if they would spend a little more energy on customer care and less energy on installing a flat screen TV in every room, my teeth wouldnt feel worse than they look. *Nate takes a bunch of Advil. The only people that should give aspen dental a good review are other dentist for all the work that they give them.

I was very pleased with Aspen Dental, I called on Tuesday and they got me in Wednesday, even though Tuesday was a Holiday ( July 4th), There was someone there to answer my call, besides that I could not have been more pleased with the Staff, very very nice, helpful, and very friendly, the receptionist greeted me as soon as I walked in and was supper Friendly, then the Assistance came and got me and it was not to long after my Appointment time(plus I had to fill out paper work) she was super friendly very professional and took very good care of me, then I went back to talk to the Doctor (DENTIST), He went over everything with me and explained Everything to me, and explained it so I could understand he took his time answered all my questions, also he made sure b4 we were done to ask if in has any questions and made sure I understood all that we went over,I could not have been more PLEASED WITH HIM AND HIS STAFF, AND FIRST AND FOR MOST THEY MADE SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE AND RELAXED,I WAS TREATED LIKE A VALUED CUSTOMER( ever though it was my very first time there) AND NOT JUST ANOTHER NUMBER,AND I WANT TO THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF AND DOCTOR FOR THERE HELP AND KINDNESS, I Already have my next appointment scheduled, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ASPEN DENTAL!!!!!

I went to Aspen Dental for a basic cleaning (no fluoride, no cavities). My only charge was my copay, which I paid. My health insurance sent me a breakdown for this examination and I saw Aspen Dental billed for fluoride. I called and they said they would correct the problem. Soon after, I received a bill from Aspen Dental for $114. I called to ask about the charge, and they responded that it was a problem with their system (which could not be easily corrected) but I would receive another statement showing $0 balance. The following month, I received another bill, this time for $79. I called, and again they blamed the problem on the system. For the next four months, I received bills for $79 in statements declaring my payment was overdue and must be paid immediately. Frustrated, I had a health advocate call them to discuss the problem. They told the advocate, "The discounts need to be applied and there is no balance," but to date, the problem has not been fixed. I am still receiving bills. This has happened to other people I know and Ive heard that Aspen Dental incorrectly bills all the time. Mistakes happen, but this is inexcusable. Long story short, save yourself the headache and protect your wallet by going somewhere else!
