Walked/Hobbled in to get an appointment for a potentially broken heel bone. Was told there was a 2 hour wait, acceptable and understandable. Therefore I used the text back method, after an hour and a half got a text saying my appointment was delayed 30 mins, ok acceptable. Got a text after that saying that is was time to show up there and I did 30 minutes early. YET, I waited over an hour as numerous amounts of people were triaged over me (which for those who dont know Traiging is the process of deciding which patients are seen depending on their injuries). None of these triaged individuals were in trauma and walked in after I did yet I was set back an extra hour plus waiting. There was no system to receiving patients as it relates to both time and injury severity Finally was called in and after waiting another 30 minutes in the office, realized there was only 1 doctor working on Friday at peak hours. Waited another 30 minutes only to see no doctor and was 30 minutes late to work because of an appointment that was made at 12 and still wasnt received at 4:30/5. Hobbled out of the office without having seen the doctor, told the front desk to just cancel my appointment, and without even asking or apologizing or anything all I got was an "ok" from an ignorant worker who didnt care at all to ask. There was nobody in the waiting room and it was not crowded on 3/24/17, yet there was clearly a lack of a system in this place and its just run by people upset with their work clearly. Apologies for venting on a bad story, but I usually never get upset with work places, but this was just too much. DO NOT VISIT! THERE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR HEALTH/TIME in my opinion.

This place is a joke. We called ahead as my daughter had fallen from a tree and needed an X-ray to see if we should bother going there or the hospital. They told us to come. I finished filling out forms and one of the front desk workers was actually giving blood for a test right there! Although no one was there we were told there was only one doctor. It took us 45 minutes to be seen. We saw the doctor for exactly 2 minutes. She didnt ask my daughter if her elbow hurt, could she extend it nothing. She went to X-rays. The doctor was overheard saying to the tech "I have faith in you" but she shouldnt have because she couldnt get her arm at the right angle needed. The doctor then came in and told us straight forward she cant really read X-rays well??? But she looked to be fine. She recommended wrapping her arm to her body which she attempted to do but dropped one of the two bandages and told me just to keep it and wrapped her with only one which did nothing. You dropped the bandage how about you go get another? She told us we should have come right in when she fell. We did! She never even asked us that question. No care directions given at all. I asked if we should ice it? We will need to start all over with new X-rays. I am waiting to see the bill for this before we pay another cent. Very unprofessional. Place is a scam.

I never leave comments on any business ever. However, this has to be the most incompetent, inefficient place of business Ive ever been too. I needed a simple drug screen for a job and was sent here, unfortunately. On the first day I tried to wait there were 5 people in the dirty waiting area and I waited for over 2 hours, could not wait any longer so came back in the afternoon and waited an hour before asking the very not friendly receptionist how long the wait might be, she said 2 hours. So Ive come back today to try and get in quicker. 2 people in the waiting room- greeted by a different, very rude personality-less person. I keep being told since Im not seeing a doctor time will be quick. Haha I havent seen a single person go back. What could they possibly be doing back there? Even on the off chance there is only one nurse and one doctor how on earth are they so slow? I cant imagine any of these patients taking longer than 15 minutes each to see a doctor. Why on earth is this place so slow????!!! What is going on!!???

My family live in Hilton Head and it seems like every time we visit, someone gets sick. When we were there over Christmas, my 13 month old son was very sick on the Saturday after Christmas. I really didnt want to take him to the ER and my sister told me about Doctors Care. Luckily, they are open on weekends. We only had to wait for about 10 minutes and they were EXTREMELY sweet and friendly. The doctor was very good with kids and made sure that he called us in a prescription that was covered by our insurance. Also, they give you a courtesy call a few days later to make sure everything is still ok. Since then, we have visited Doctors Care 2 other times. Every time has been the same: Quick, easy and helpful. Its such a relief to have somewhere to go when we get sick on HHI. It feels like we have our own Primary Care Physician on Hilton Head!

My whole family came down with a cold right before we left for our one week vacation to Hilton Head in mid-May 2015. If that wasnt bad enough, my cold turned into a sinus infection by the middle of the week. Tuesday evening I went to Doctors Care with a low grade fever and feeling so miserable with my sinuses I couldnt even hang out on the beach, sleep, etc. I filled out the few sheets of paperwork, there wasnt anyone else in the waiting room, and I was quickly called in to an exam room. I saw Dr. Salvatore C. Assorgi. He was kind, quick, and had my prescriptions sent out electronically in no time. It was by far the fastest, most painless urgent care experience Ive ever had. I started my prescription that night and was starting to feel a bit better by the next day. Dr. Assorgi saved my vacation!! Thank you Doctors Care!!

Doctors DONT care. Please, please, be very careful of this place. While on vacation in Hilton Head we took our daughter to this place and Dr. Wagner saw her and said she appeared to have early signs of strep throat and prescribed Amoxicillin and never suggested a blood test. Three days latter when we returned home she was in an ambulance headed to our childrens hospital admitted into ICU for 7 days with an extremely high WBC diagnosed with Leukemia. In fact in those 7 days she almost died a couple of times. In retrospect all the signs were there, bruising, lethargic, sore neck, swelling, etc. and Dr. Wagner flat out missed it. The reason you go to a doctor is to get professional help and it just didnt appear that we got it here.

Got there, asked about the waiting time and was told was going to be not a lot; waited 3 hrs!. While I was waiting with fever and a terrible flue I noticed the doctor was making phone calls ( about 45 minutes). When finally the doctor came she noticed I wasnt happy with all the waiting. My prescription was sent 2 times to the wrong pharmacy!, even when I made where clear every time I told them. Its clear that as an emergency care center they do not care a t all for their patients and they hated to be told anything about the excessive waiting time while the doctor sits and makes phone calls. Talking about courtesy of the staff, the nurse who saw me first didnt even greet me, she never smiled and she almost made no eye contact.
