We have one year old twins, who have been going to Dr. Walby since day one. We initially choose this practice because it was part of Novant Health and because they had a certified lactation nurse. While I would agree with one of the other comments that a nursing area would be nice, Ive seen women nursing freely without issue. And you arent in the waiting area long enough anyways. We have always been told we can hang out in the room if we needed to in order to feed my boys. Being a first time mom and trying to learn how to breast feed two hungry boys was challenging. When I called my questions were answered or I was told where to call to get the information I needed. When my boys had a stomach bug I had to call after hours. I got a very helpful nurse who gave me information and guided me on how to deal with infants with a stomach bug. When they were sick and we needed an appointment for TWO babies last minute on a Friday, they made it happen. We barely have time to sit down in the waiting room. Dr. Walby listens to all of our questions, doesnt pass judgment and offers insight from her personal experience without coming across as pushy or judgmental. It has been very reassuring to have her guidance. I personally like that I can email her questions that are not time sensitive and she personally responds to me. Having one of my twins with acid reflux and dealing with all that comes with I had a LOT of questions. And while my husband would get annoyed when I would come in with a list of questions, Dr. Walby would listen and respond appropriately never seeming rushed or annoyed by my questions. I truly feel like she cares for my boys and they go the extra mile for them when we are there. I even ask when getting shots that we have two nurses come in so they can give them at the same time, because if one is crying the other one will start crying. So having to do one at a time just doubles the crying time period. They always do this for us. Ive always had wonderful experiences here. The only time I had an issue making an appointment was during summer when Dr. Walby was taking a much needed and deserved vacation. I choose to wait for her because we love her instead of seeing another doctor, who Im sure would have been fine. We drive past multiple other pediatric offices just to go to Dr. Walby. And my husband is NOT a very patient man. But for him to be willing to drive from Belmont to Wendover for a doctor in itself has to say a lot if you knew him. I would recommend Dr. Walby and this practice to anyone.

Great Doctor and staff. Low wait time and the dr spends time with you. The only complaint I have is when having to call the office. The wait times to call is always long and whenever I have had a question, I can never get in touch with a nurse. the automated system tells me someone will call back, and if you miss it, then you have to call again and wait. Ends up that I have to take my questions elsewhere. Dr amy ryan is so nice though and very good with my daughter, only reason why I stay with her is she is good.

I am certain this is the best Pediatric office on the planet. All of the Doctors I have came across are great. I have 3 kids to attend this practice and throughout the years I came across a few different doctors due to sudden sickness. We have been coming here for 10 years now and do not plan on leaving until they age out. My sons Allergist told me 3 yrs ago, his kids come here. Amazing staff and group of Doctors. FYI: they listen.

Both my children have seen all Drs in office, their Dr actually retired but took my daughter through her 18th bday since she was 3 yrs old. My son is now about to turn 18, and hes been a patient since birth! The best care in pediatrics. I will miss this practice! Just a caring group of Drs who treat you like family!

The answering service sucks!!!! Called twice and they still would not give me an appointment for my son to be seen on the weekend. Like wow really!!?? Guess the answering service dont really care about a child! Will not be using that again and I may switch doctors!!

The Doctors are very good. Like the other comments after hours staff are bad. Their standard reply is to come when the office is open. Its annoying to hear that after answering questions for 20 mins.

Dr Lye is great with my child!! However, answering service and receptionists lack customer friendly skills! Rude and incentive to clients requests or questions.
