Will never go there again and highly recommend that others stay clear. I went there because my Blood Pressure has been too high. Paid up-front for everything and was prescribed a medication which I took as prescribed. They wanted me to return in 2 weeks for a followup visit (They did not tell me that this would cost another doctors fee.) The meds did not stop the problem with my High BP, so I went on the date that they told me to come in. The rude receptionist wanted me to pay another fee even though the initial visit was not resolved. I refused to pay and therefore was not seen. I know if I take my car to a mechanic and he runs a diagnostic to find out what is wtong with my car, I would have the solutions that I need to fix my car and if in 2 weeks the repairs did not work, they would not charge me additional fees for their mis-diagnosis. It may still involve me buying additional parts (meds), but not another fee just for coming in on same problem.

My experience here wad great. The staff is friendly, everyone went above and beyond, and they even follow up with you a few days later. I dont get the negative reviews unless people really are that thick that they dont understand this isnt your doctors office, its a urgent walk-in clinic. With walk-in clinics there is a wait, a one or even two hour process being seen and being discharged is actually great. You dont just walk into your doctors office and see your doctor with in a matter of minutes so why would you expect anything more where people are constantly walking in. As a matter of fact most primary doctors have a days wait if not weeks, so why would an hour or two matter. Again this is an urgent care clinic so urgent matters take precedent over your two month cough. I hate to see great business get negative reviews from ignorant folks. I have a primary care doctor but rest assured Id definitely go back to Doctors Care again if needed.

The girls at the front desk (Jessica, thanks!) were very helpful any time I called or came in. I had been in before today and also had a good experience during that visit. Sadly the doctor I saw previously was not in today. The doctor I had treated me as if I was stupid, called me a liar and told me I need to see a psychiatrist- all this in front of my 5 year old son. Why? Because Im having shoulder pain thats keeping me from sleeping for days now and Im scared of what it may be and when he wanted to do the shoulder exam I couldnt help but cry. I will be calling the 1800 # on Monday when they are open. This doctor should not be allowed to treat people however he pleases. I wont ever recommended this place to anyone for fear they be treated as I was.

I was asked to go to one room because my room wasnt available and forgotten about. When finally put in the right room after walking out and reminding them i was waiting by going to the restroom i was left with a nurse who didnt seem to care or communicate (she was slamming drawers looking for something she couldnt find). Doctor was very rude at bluffton location he said "So what everyone is waiting" to a nurse in reference to me after I was left alone in a room for 40 minutes after I was asked to removed my clothes and left in a paper gown. Staff was very upset that I asked for a refund and not apologetic at all. Many conversations were held that were unprofessional and no one bothered to clean the restroom. I will never return!!!

My wife and I have been patients at the Bluffton location for 3 months, and each time we have had an appointment we have been taken care of very quickly and thoroughly. In addition, they have responded quickly to any changes needed in our medications. We have recommended this place to our new neighbors who worked in a hospital in Florida prior to moving here and they immediately signed up for Care with this group and have been very impressed with all the Doctors and nurses. This unique concept of health care delivery should be a model for our entire country because it holds costs down and delivers the best medicine and/or diagnosis quickly.

I love Dr Lusik and most of the staff. If there is any chance that I might have to endure a visit with "Dr. Hodges" I do not go. If he was their only Doctor I would give the place one star or less. He is abrupt and rude. I was forced to put him in his place for the $160 dollar 5 minute rude visit. Like I said everyone there is great except for him. I have no idea how Hodges keeps his job. Must be patients per hour he can sqeeze through so Blue Cross can make more money. The minute Blue Cross took over/ bought Doctors care the price for a visit went from $90 to $160 . nice to have a monopoly on Health care in SC.

Should be renamed Doctors Dont Care. Doctor Hodges is a disgrace to medicine. I had the displeasure of dealing with him twice... Never again! I urge others to stay away from him. He doesnt care about the patients he only cares about clearing claims so he can get paid. If you have to go there Dr. Lusick is the man to see, he is through and knowledgable. He is professional though its likely he is the only one. The support staff is RUDE! They dont realize the walls are paper thin. They shouldnt be talking trash about patients period.... especially when they are in the exam rooms ... News flash we can hear you!

I wish we would have read the reviews before going to doctors care. We went there after leaving an appointment for our children so my husband could be seen. The children and I waited in the car figuring that since they didnt seem busy it wouldnt take long. After TWO HOURS my husband finally came out VERY upset. The receptionist was very rude to him and had no understanding that he is healing from six broken ribs and was in a lot of pain. Needless to say we will NEVER go there again.

Wife went here for sore throat and ear. They prescribed antibiotics and steroids. She felt a little better but after two days started feeling the same symptoms creep back. I called to ask if they had any ideas. They suggested another visit w/ another doctors visit fee. I asked for this to be waived and they refused w/ out apologies. Dr. Taylor was the doctor. I would try somewhere else. Also, the lady answering the phone on 10/12 at 4pm was a bit rude.

Global Urgent Care will see patients with out of state insurance. My daughter goes to school out of state and the school is down the street from the Doctors Care Urgent Care. I have complete insurance coverage but is an HMO. My HMO said they would pay for the entire visit and Doctors Care refused service due to the fact it was an HMO. After speaking with my insurance company and finding out the visit would be paid in full - care was still denied.
