First time there for me and one of my 5 dogs was the other day. We were looking for a closer and more convenient vet office because of so many dogs. When I made the appointment I specifically addressed all the concerns with my dog having serious nervous issues going to the vet. I was assured that everyone there could handle it. I expressed that she was a Pit bull and that she breaks out with whelps in a nervous reaction, along with some growls and such, but was told that there are many Pits that go there w similar issues. After giving the vet the story on my dogs hypothyroidism, I simply asked her to take off her white lab coat as this has been done at my dog"s past vets and the visit always seems smooth sailing provided that the vet doesnt get scared at the first growl. However this is when the interaction between myself and the vet went downhill. Bottom line is that the vet was extremely intimidated of my dog, and scared which really upset me and also made it pointless to go any further with the appointment. I believe the way that she handled herself was extremely unprofessional, to say the least. I have heard wonderful things about Dr. Allen and would have loved to have been seen by him so the negative review is based entirely on this particular individual. I honestly believe that for an individual to work in this type of field, that they have to be skilled and knowledged in EVERY aspect of the field, including but not limited to showing fear when a dog growls at them. This is why I explained and was made to feel assured that there wouldnt be any issues or worries at the visit. Needless to say, I ended up leaving without a dire T4 blood panel taken from my dog. Its a shame that some people really dont know how to interact with not only humans but other species as well.

Yesterday the vet left my female in labor for 3 hours after having her 1st puppy before she preformed the c section. Resulting in the lose of 4 puppies and 3 barely surviving. Falsified records by listing 6 puppies total. 3 dead 3 alive. They sent me home with 4 puppies. One dead within 10 minutes of leaving. Gave me the excuse that they were busy and got to her surgery as soon as they could. Sent my female and 4 puppies home before they even had a chance to nurse, because theu already closed. 3 surviving puppies are having trouble eating. Were quick to let me have a price quote and since they didnt have a bill ready they charged me 600$ deposit before i ever seen my female and her puppies. Will never take my dogs back to jones animal hospital. They are money hungry and dont care about the animal.

I found some tumors on my 8 year Maltese, Tess, needless to say I was freaking out. Being new to the area I didnt have a vet. By the grace of God I chose to call Jones Animal Hospital. They got her an appointment that day, and scheduled her for surgery. The tumors had developed due to my stupidity of not having her spayed. The surgery was to remove the tumors and spay her at the same time. The staff and Dr. Bodenhorst were amazing. They kept me informed throughout the day and Dr. Bodenhorst even called me after closing to give me further details and updates. Picked Tess up the next morning, she looked great and was behaving remarkably. I am so thankful that I chose Jones and they will forever be my vet for my baby girl. Please everyone get your pet spayed or neutered, I learned the hard way.

I will NEVER take my animals here again!! My German Shepard was eat up with tumors and we had no idea. His little stomach was bulged out and He had lost A LOT of weight fast and threw up for 2 weeks straight. We took him to Jones Animal Hospital and the Dr. Said he was fine! He said my dog Marshall probably ate something and felt bad. The doctor didnt suggest having an x-ray or anything. I guess he didnt want to fool with him. We took him to Fergusons and they said we needed to do an x-ray ASAP. HE ended up having an emergency surgery was already bleeding in his stomach and he ended up having to be put to sleep two days ago and Im completely heart broken! I wont stop until I run that place in the ground. RIP my baby.

took my dog to get her ears cleaned, I told them she had wax deep in ears they needed to be cleaned as the wax was impacted. They took her back and in less than 2 minutes she was brought back with ICE COLD solution streaming out of her ears, they did not even bother to dry her ears! She was shivering from cold and totally traumatized. I told them I was not happy and asked to speak to the vet, dont know which one was there but whoever it was did not come out to talk to me. I told them I would never bring another animal to them. To treat an animal in such an inhumane way is totally unacceptable.

I cannot say enough about the great experience we have had at Jones Animal Hospital. Dr. Allen and all the staff were so kind to us as they helped us take care of our sick cat. I dont typically write reviews, but the care and compassion we received was above and beyond. Your vet is pathetic BEC of you all my cat died I called you on Saturday and it was exactly 11:45 and BEC you closed in 15 mins you said you couldnt help me!! Isnt that your job no matter what time or day it is!!! Better hope if your pet gets sick or hurt it isnt on a Saturday!!!

Walk in, they saw Bump the wonder cat within mins. Dr. Kerby is a wonderful Vet and the staff was great. Dr Kerby took time to go over things with me and put Bump on a diet, he wasnt crazy about that. Thanks Dr Kerby and Jones Animal Hospital

Jones Animal Hospital is the perfect place to take your pets. The Doctors and Staff are AWESOME, COURTESY, AND VERY CARING. I would only take my pets to Jones animal hospital because I have great confidence that my pet is in great hands.

I brought one of my Dobermans here to get there ears done and they are wonderful its about an hour drive for me but I will be taking all my pets here! If you want someone that cares about your pet as much as you do than look no further!!

They totally saved my fur babys life after someone came in our yard and hit him with a car. Broken leg and collapsed lung. Best vet care around and office staff has been great!
