As a former patient, I can say that Dr. Michael Mcghee is a wonderful doctor and that his technique, at least the technique he used with me, was highly effective. Using the Word of God is a means with which one cannot argue - especially me! No matter how emotional or angry I was coming in, I always left calmed in my spirit and my mind quieted. I appreciate his manner and I believe he is led by God through Christ Jesus. He is a blessing I am so grateful to have had in my time of need. Glory To God in all things. This man is completely unprofessional. What kind of psychiatrist makes fun of a woman for breastfeeding her 7 month old infant when she is in to see him for postpartum depression? He also laughed at me for being "too sensitive" and joked that Im probably "one of those women who read too much" as if a woman with a degree scares him. And apparently he believes that a 7 month old "dont need no breast" because she can eat food, contrary to AAP and WHO recommendations. Told me he was treating me as if I were a 6 year old. Filing official complaints.

As a former patient of doctor McGhee, I want to advise anybody seeking help from him to be weary. Im an atheist and multiple times during a few sessions he kept pushing the bible on me while I was there to get medication managment. He has no empathy or sympathy for those suffering form bi polor or PTSD. His judgment on whats right for the patient is far from good. I will NEVER step foot in this office again, I believe he shouldnt be allowed to practice here. Jesus wont cure me and neither will McGhee.

He was very understanding an listened to how I felt. He didnt just throw pills at me he actually took the time an talked to me about all the feelings I was having an the concerns I had about what I was on before an he put me on what he thinks will work best for me....I have a lot of respect for him..

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place is a joke! The whole staff is completely unprofessional and liars. Dont waste your time. Tricare needs to stop sending people here!! If they tell you to go here I would request another facility.
