They welcomed my wife and I with a smile. That was the only time I felt good about being there. We were self pay customers. Apparently Pearl is geared for insurance purchases because they are very over priced. A simple pair of bi focals for my wife using 99 dollar frames including an eye exam was about $634.00. They knocked off $114.00 trying to make us feel they were doing us a favor, even though with the discount was still very expensive. I myself decided not to buy mine there mainly because of their outrageous prices. I saw a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses exactly like mine that I paid $129.00 elsewhere. The wanted $279.00 for theirs. While I was looking at prescrition frames, I found a pair I liked. They wanted $379.00 for the frames alone. When we left, we went to a local Optical store where I saw the exact prescription frames for $249.00. I sincerely hope Pearl enjoys the sale they made because we will never enter their store again and I have already started spreading the word with all my friends to avoid these gougers.

I called just to get a price quote on an Exam. I dont have insurance so I have been shopping around... This was by far the best place I have called and the nicest people I have yet to talk to!!!

Made an appointment four days ago online. Said it was confirmed. Got there and the doctor had already gone, and they said they showed no appointment made in her name. Very disappointed...
