Took my 10 month old English Bulldog in on a Saturday. She had been vomiting and acting really weak and had developed cherry eye. I expressed that I was afraid she could have parvo, but he didnt acknowledge and didnt test for it either. Gave me eye medicine, anti nausea pills and antibiotics and told me to come back Wednesday. She died Monday morning! Had he tested her to really see what she had he probably could have put her on an IV and got fluids in her to help her ride it out. Didnt really seem to care too much. I would never take another animal there after my poor Bella had to die a horrible death.

After Dr. Perry did my horse Kings teeth(my older horse) in all the years Ive owned him and had his teeth floated Ive never seen him loose this LITTLE of grain! All these years it was his teeth! Thank you again SO much for taking care of my horses! You guys are awesome!! On another side note of Dr. Perry. He caught tumors on my geldings sheath I never would have noticed or known about. I am so thankful to have a vet that shows compassion even with his busy schedule he takes the time he needs with my animals to make sure they are taken good care of.

The people who wrote the bad reviews have put them on the wrong vet. The vets on Open Range Road are large animal vets. They don.t do dogs. There is another Vet who came along later, and that Homestead Vet is a small animal vet. The large animal vets are excellent. Im going on 80 years old and have been involved with animals all my life, and they are the best vets I have ever encountered.

They took excellent care of my goats when they needed health certificates. Explained everything they were doing and looking at so my grandchildren understood. They also treated my daughters Arab mare when she colicked after a long trip. Again very professional and thorough.

They are very nice and polite every time you go in there or even call the office! This is a very good place to take your animals! They are very professional at all times!
