I took my cat in to be groomed on Wednesday and the next day she couldnt walk on her front right paw. I took her back on Friday morning and Dr. Johnson told me she asked the groomer if there was anything that happened because I was bringing her back. The groomer said no that she even let her blow dry her. (which was very strange to me). The vet asked her if she cut her nails and she said yes. Upon examination the vet and the assistant were in the room and one of them said that her nails werent cut. I questioned the honestly of the groomer. I was then told that she cut one of her paws and not the other one. At which time all three of us wondered why she did that. The vet examined (by feel) my cat and told me she didnt appear to have any fractures or wounds and that she must have just crilled it. She then left the room and came back in and proceeded to cut the paw that hadnt been cut (I saw this myself). I then paid $43 for another visit and left. Over the weekend my cats paw swelled almost twice as big as it was and by this time she isnt limping - she isnt even touching the floor with it and was very aggressive when you even slightly touched it. I took her to a different vet first thing Monday morning and one of her toes on her left foot was broken! I WAS LIVID. On the way to the new vet on Monday I called back to Bevins to speak with someone that was in the room to confirm which foot (nails) had been cut and which had not and was told my the vet that she didnt say that one had been cut and one hadnt. I asked her specifically "are you telling me that wasnt said and I didnt say why would she lie about that"?...."are you telling me that I didnt say why would she cut one and not the other". She replied "I did not". I was floored. Further than that WHY else would a vet cut an animals nails when they are being brought in for having a hurt foot? And if the thought is she was being thorough then why didnt she find the ear infection that my cat also had? Im sending the bills for the new vet to them and I expect to be in court with them over it all. Which I have no problem pursuing!

I cant even put into words... what angels this group of people are... Emily and her staff are so awesome, kind and compassionate for animals... she truly understands what our animals mean to us... my daughter and i were so distraught when we took our miniature dachshund, Baby, in to see her... she gave us hope and reassurance we needed!!!
