This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a dr and staff. After having a xray the dr and I were discussing the results and I had a lot of questions. He became very agitated by my questions. He then went to prescribe me a rx and I told him I did not want what he was prescribing because it doesnt work for me and told him what did work for me. He became very irate and asked me to leave and he was discharging me as a patient. I said, for what asking questions, being my own advocate? he made me very nervous. He has the GOD mentality, I am a dr and you dont question me. I was absolutely taken back by his bizarre behavior. Upon leaving, the office manager, Barbara told me I had to pay for the ofc visit even though they had my ins info. She said, I had to pay until the ins paid them. I paid because I did not want any trouble. After 1.5 weeks later I called and told them I wanted my money back, that they can not bill me and bill my ins, that is illegal and I will call the news and my attorney. I got a return call from the drs wife, Barabra calling me stupid and saying I had mental problems because I said I was going to call the news, then said she would have my check of $200 ready in 2 hours. I have spoken to 2 other drs since this happened and even they were shocked by this dr and his wifes behavior. PATIENTS BEWARE!! THESE PEOPLE ARE CRAZY AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND IS BILLING PATIENTS AND THEIR INS. THAT IS ILLEGAL!!!

I was very impressed by Dr. Stewarts caring and empathetic demeanor during my first appointment. He spent a lot of time getting to know me, asking questions regarding my symptoms, my history and overall health. He conducted himself in a very professional manner during this initial visit. However, by the third appointment, I began noticing very disturbing behaviors. He displayed a very arrogant & inconsiderate attitude. He quickly dismissed or ignored any concerns I had regarding my own health. He made unprofessional and extremely inconsiderate comments to me. His behavior and mentality was simply disturbing and seemed to worsen with each visit. I would not recommend Dr. Stewart to anyone.

Dr John Stewart is mentally ill.He and his wife literally closed their practice and moved away overnight without giving their patients or staff any notice.I suppose these are the times we live in.What kind of Doctor does something like this.The people of Hendersonville are better off without him

hmm.. well it was good at first . once you describe anything that they cant handle. The after hour pager. They will not get back to you. Caring? Id say no after they feel they cant handle as much.

Just called to make an appointment and so far so good. Nice receptionist and very quick date. I am not sure about the reviews below but Dr. Stewart was highly recommended to me from others.
