I have been coming to see Dr. Bateman for a few years now. After moving from another state and getting a recommendation from a peer, I decided to give him a try. I am very picky with my teeth. Dr. Bateman and his staff have not only helped me achieve amazing oral health, they have helped me build my self confidence, helped me smile more and most of all helped me understand the importance of encouraging others to smile. When I smile at people, they always tell me that I have some of the prettiest teeth they have ever seen. I always tell them "Thank my mother and my dentist." I love going to the dentist because the staff does everything they can to ensure that you are welcomed, feel appreciated and receive the oral health care that you are there for. The hygienist are always ready to service your teeth, and ready with a smile. Dr. Bateman, is far more than just a dentist. He is the epitome of class, respectful and dignity. He always ensures that his clients are happy with what ever the service his establishment is conducting. It is apparent that he is just not in this business for the insurance money or the co-pays. I moved cities and still commute to Dr. Batemans office, because he has improved my love for oral hygiene and my teeth. Thank you to the staff at Dr. Batemans office for always providing me and others with a genuine "Good morning, Good afternoon, and a thank you." To Dr. Bateman, thank you for caring for others and encouraging them to encourage themselves. My teeth shine bright like a diamond because of your staff and their love for oral hygiene! I strongly encourage anyone to give this office your time, you will not be upset.

If youre looking for the best dentist in the area (and I may even venture to say they are the best in the state if not the country!!!) then look no further! I have always been the kind of person that growing up I was MADE to go to the dentist. I absolutely hated it! After being referred by a coworker to see Jake and Richard, I could not be more pleased!! I can officially say that I dont mind going to the dentist at all anymore! The office is nice and well kept, and all of the staff is amazing! They truly make you feel like you are at home and they care!! Its easy to tell theyre not only in the practice for the money. These people actually treet everyone like family. I love how Jake remembers me so well (and Ive only seen him a handful of times). Every time I go in he asks how school and work is going and I LOVE that! Its great to know that there are still people like this in this world. I extend the deepest of thanks to Jake, Richard, and all of their staff. Thank you all so very much for allowing me the opportunity to finally ENJOY going to the dentist. Everyone there is absolutely the best!! I have seen roughly 10-20 different dentists and can safely say I will never look for another place again! Thank you all so very much!!!!!!

Ginger Byrd is an amazing dental hygienist. She is always wearing an A+ smile! Ok..so my gums are tender, and Ginger is the first person to clean my teeth without making me bleed. It can be done, and she is so caring and gentle with me. I have made a new friend in my "Gentle Ginger" and love seeing her smile. It is like visiting a friends house instead of going to the dreaded dentist! Dr. Jake is a true professional with the best personality of any dentist on the planet. He is always asking about things that matter to me. I know he is in constant contact with many people, but he remembers to ask about my children, calling them by name, my real estate career, and my fur babies. I would highly recommend and do!!

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Rick Bateman, Dr. Jake Bateman and all of their staff from the front office all the way to the back!! I have been going to Dr. Batemans office for years and have always been made to feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Bateman is an excellent dentist, very professional yet friendly, positive and supportive. They really take the time to explain procedures and what is going on with your teeth and the options that you have. He and Jake have always called after hours once a procedure was done to check on me and see how I was doing. The whole staff really seem to care about you as a person and not just a patient. Best dentist office in the Tri Cities!!

My experience at Bateman Dentistry is always the same... Excellent. Ive been a patient of Ricks for over 17 years and now Im a patient of Jakes as well. The work Ive had done by them has been great. No complaints!! No problems!! The staff is very friendly. From Brooke at the front desk to Donna in hygiene. Youll always see a smiling face. Also my 4 year old is now a patient at Bateman Dentistry. She had her first cleaning a few months and cant wait to go back! Without a doubt I will be a lifetime patient of Rick and Jake Batemans.

If you are looking for a new dentist in the Sullivan county area please look no further. They accept many different insurances and are definitely worth a try. I was in town for a brief time while traveling from out west. I broke a molar and needed it quickly addressed. The staff was helpful and the office got me in right away. Dr. Jake Bateman gave me his opinion and my options and then I was able to get it taken care of the very next day. I would definitely return here if I were in the area and needed dental care.
