I have been trying to get some genetic testing done for having a strong family history of breast/cervical/ovarian/uterine cancer and she has been nothing but a pain in my butt. She refuses to refer anyone to specialists that she deems "not medically necessary" even if the doctor you are trying to get a referral to says that it is vital that you see them. I have called multiple times trying to give her the "proof" that she needs to let me see this other dr and she still refuses and I have even been hung up on and told that "people do lie about family members having cancer". So finally after a battle with them over needing "proof" of my grandmother having cancer, I had my grandmothers doctor send her a letter stating that she did, in fact, have breast cancer before. I call Dr Reeds office back 3 days later to ask them about it and no one knows where the letter is. "It may be in the big stack of records Dr Reed hasnt gotten to yet" the woman on the phone told me...are you serious? I will never return to Dr Reeds office and would advise others to steer clear also.

Im not a patient of Dr Reed. But trying to assist one of their patients, I had the most HORRIBLE conversations Ive ever had in my life with the "Office Manger" / Mr Reed her husband. Unprofessional, rude, overbearing and just plain out of line. I wouldnt refer ANYONE to this practice all due to theyre poor choice in management. He was not only rude to myself and staff, but also to our elderly patients wife. Unacceptable... Period
