I will never go back to this optical center again. Over a year ago I went to Rudowskis eyecare because they were one of the few places that carried the brand of lenses I wanted. The exam, etc went well. I paid over $900 for my glasses with the frames only costing about $150 of that amount. When I received the glasses about 10 days later, I stopped by to pick them up. I was rushed and the girl in the front was very busy. Within a couple of days afterwards I was hospitalized for approximately 2 weeks and had a home recovery period of about 2 weeks. During this time I realized these glasses were not as effective as they should have been. I could hardly read regular print, much less small print. I went back to Rudowskis office to explain the situation and was basically told "tough, too bad, you should have come back in sooner". I explained again that I had been hospitalized and had home recovery as well. Then the dr wanted to recheck my eyes to make sure the prescription had not changed. (???) She also stated no return or rework on my glasses. I was out of luck. What I was, was screwed by Rudowski eyecare. They could have cared less that I had spent over $900 for a pair of glasses that was useless to me. Never, ever again !!!! I probably could have gotten better service at Wal-Mart.

I was looking for a new eye doctor because my previous one had moved away... I wasnt looking forward to finding a new one because he had been so great and up-to-date on eye care. Ive had glasses practically all my life and contacts for at least half of it. I took a chance and went to Dr. Rudowski located off of Almaville in the Publix Strip Mall and was pleasantly surprised to find the same level of excellence and care. My initial hesitation was the fact that she had no reviews on here and I couldnt find a lot of information, but the winning factor over others was the unique hours of operation that work well for me and that they took my insurance. The care is great, service excellent; I highly recommend. Do note that if you choose to use GPS to find this place it will lead you to the wrong location. Her office is located right off the I-24 exit in the Publix Strip on the right by Fat Mos.

Dr. Rudowski is very caring and takes time with you during your appointment. And the office staff is very caring as well and take time to explain all what your insurance will or will not cover on your glasses and contact options. Was very impressed the first time I visited this office. Dr. Rudowski was not my doctor, but I needed to see someone immediately with a problem on one of my eyes. I could not get into see my normal doctor and this office worked me in on a busy, short work day Saturday! While waiting on my appointment, I watched and listened to the team interact with clients and was blown away by their professionalism and care they took compared to where I had been going for years. I had my records switched to their office after that experience. I recommended Dr. Rudowski and her team to my best friend and now her entire family goes here as well!

Every time I need new contacts or my husband needs glasses, we go to Rudowski Eyecare. The service is impeccable. The staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. I have never felt rushed about picking the glasses that are the best fit, and the always have wonderful insight into which lenses are the best for my husband. They always do whatever it takes to get me the most through my insurance and in rebates so that my out of pocket expenses are as small as possible. The doctors are wonderful and they take the time to talk to you about any concerns you have and explain your eye health to you as well. I cannot recommend this establishment enough. One of the best things is the retinal mapping. With a history of poor eye health, the mapping allows Dr. Rudowski to compare year to year and gives me peace of mind.

I absolutely love her! Finally an eye doctor open on Saturday and anyone who knows me knows its not easy for me to be trusting of any eye doc. When I was 21, I had cataracts removed in both eyes. The doctor that did it put the incorrect implant lens in my eyes and so I had to go back through and have it redone. 4 surgeries!! Ever since, I cringe at seeing an eye doctor but knew I needed to. From the moment I walked into Rudowski eye care I had a good feeling. Her staff is knowledgeableand very respectful. Dr. Rudowski herself is very personable and extremely patient and kind. I walked out of there with my contacts in and now can see the world much clearer. I recommend her to everyone I know!!

Dr. Rudowski is great, friendly, and professional. She suggested an allergy eyedrop for me, and encouraged my purchasing the over-the-counter brand in lieu of the $100/eye drops she COULD prescribe because she, as a patient, wouldnt want to pay that either. I truly appreciated her candor and her professionalism. Her staff was helpful, and I would highly recommend her. I love the hours - they have Saturday appointments!! Thats so rare, nowadays. In picking out frames/glasses, her staff helped me find the best glasses for my money and then made sure they gave me all discounts they could through my insurance when they entered it all in. I appreciate that extra mile and so did my wallet!

Finally found an eye doctor that I will continue to go to for years to come! I honestly dont think I have ever sat in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes before they are ready for me. Once I am done with all the pre-testing and am placed in an exam room, Dr. Rudowski is usually in the room with a couple seconds! The whole staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I was looking up eye doctors in the area and I was told by other offices that it would be two months before the doctor could see me. When I called Rudowski Eyecare on the other hand, I was able to get an appointment for the very next day. I was really appreciative of how patient oriented they are, even towards brand new patients, like myself. Highly recommended.

Dr. Rudowski and staff were amazing. My daughters had their first eye exams and were extremely anxious. She put them at ease and was very patient with them. My daughter ended up getting a pair of glasses, and she is very happy with them. They made everything so easy. We had a great experience!

Used them several times in the past few years and have always been happy but when the dog ate my sons glasses and they helped me get them back for a small percentage of the original cost I was thrilled. Give them a try. Everyone very knowledgeable, professional and courteous!
