On Tuesday December 10th I took our dog Zoey to Agape to be groomed. The groomer’s name was Bill Keck and he had groomed Zoey twice before. The first time he did a fair job but the second time he had cut the hair around the rectum very short. It looked like the rear end of a Monkey. I talked with the receptionist and explanted to her that I did not want the hair around the rectum cut that short and wanted it the same length as the rest of the body. I also left instructions for them not to touch her tail or cut any of the hair off of it as Bill had trimmed some off the last time. Zoey is 6 years old and we have never had the hair on tail hair cut off. She had a beautiful full flowing tail. When I went to pick her up Bill had cut all of the hair off her tail. 6 years of growth gone. I talked with the office manager and she was sorry it had happen. Later in the day I talked with Bill to see why he had cut all the hair off of the tail. He said that Lisa had put on the instruction to cut her tail the same length as the rest of the body. Bill had specific instruction from past grooming to never cut any hair off of Zoey’s tail. He did not bother to check with Lisa or call me to see if we had changed our mind. HE JUST CUT IT OFF. WHEN I TALKED WITH BILL HE DID NOT THINK IT WAS A BIG PROBLEM AS IT “WAS ONLY HAIR AND IT WOULD GROW BACK”. I never dreamed that a PROFESSIONAL groomer would do something like that without checking with the owner. HE THOUGHT WE WERE BEING UNRESANOBLE. I cannot print what I said to him. I have left two notes with Dr Crowell, the owner, but he has not responded to my notes. HE MUST ALSO THINK IF NOT A BIG DEAL IS. They say they care for your pet, maybe yours but not mine. I have retrieved all of our two dogs’ medical records and will never set foot in that office again.

This review is long overdue but I didnt want my appreciation to be unknown. Dr.Pileggi and the staff went above and beyond to take care my cat Lily who I took in from abdanonment.Lily was a 17yr old outdoor cat that was not well taken care of by her "owners" so I decided to take her in and have her checked.Lily was ill with hyperthyroidism which led to her blindness and kidney failure but through it all Dr.Pileggi allowed her be taken care of and loved.She went through ongoing testing and treatment to assure her quality of life was the best it could be. Dr.Pileggi was compassionate and knowledgable through Lilys Journey and I am beyond thankful that he was the vet to take care of her. I highly recommend him because I know that he truely cares about the animals that come to him. Lily is no longer with us because her sickness eventually took over and rapidly took her downhill within days.Dr.Pilggi and his staff made it possible for me to give Lily a warm loving home before she passed and that means a lot to me.She needed that love and comfort and thanks to Dr.Pileggi and the staff, I was able to give that to her.

I trust these vets, its why I keep going back to them. My dog is comfortable there, and they are very nice and the exam rooms are always clean and not smelly. The staff is always courteous and friendly. I never wait too long for an appointment. They send email reminders and are always up front, which I appreciate. I have one complaint, and that is the fact that I have never been in an exam room without being upsold on something. It concerns me because I never know when they are going to find something for real, and I have to decipher whether they are upselling or counselling. My dog always seems to need an x-ray, and never for the same thing. Hes always got a slightly enlarged something, and maybe we should run a test for this. If it werent every time, I might be more cautious. This is frustrating enough that I consider going to a different vet after each visit. It seems that making money is worth putting my dog through x-rays or drawing blood, and that is disheartening.

My Husband and I recently moved to the area and my main priority was to find the very best vet care for our pup. I did some research online and read the reviews and decided to take a chance on Agape Pet Hospital. I called to set up our pups 1St appointment and lucky for us they were able and happy to fit us in that same day, within the hour!!! The receptionist Missy was a sweetheart and a pleasure to speak with. The building was easy to find and very clean inside. Our vet tech was wonderful and our pup adored her!!! We got to discuss our concerns and questions with our Vet Brian and he was amazing to both us and our pup! I am beyond thankful to everyone at Agape Pet Hospital. I now can feel comfortable knowing our pup will have the best care! Thank you to everyone of you!!!

We adopted two rescue puppies a few months ago. Id always had cats before and didnt really have any complaints about the vet I had used for them. I called Agape just to get a feel for their customer service and was blown away with how helpful, kind, and patient they were. Then when I brought a puppy in, they were so cheerful and kind - very welcoming and calming. The rooms were clean, they were great with the puppies as well as my young child. They engaged him in conversation and we didnt feel rushed out or that we were a nuisance. The whole experience was fantastic and I wasnt as nervous having to do it again for the next puppy with my child in tow too. Theyre not pushy and have such a calm demeanor - it was a great experience. I highly recommend them.

After a horrible experience at another vets office from having a mass tumor removed from our dogs hind leg, we became very concerned something was not right with his leg. We did everything the other vet told us to do but there was a lot of bleeding, swelling and foul odor coming from the wound. We took our dog to Agape and Dr Pileggi said it was very infected. He immediately started treating it to get the infection under control. I feel as though Dr Pileggi has saved our dogs life and made it his own personal goal to help our dog fully recover. He and his wonderful staff makes our dog feel comfortable and loved even though he has had a very tough recovery and has to been seen a lot. We will only take our dogs to Agape from now on. ❤️

I love Agape Pet Hospital! My baby 5lb Shorkie, Charlotte has been going to Agape for over 2 years now. We brought her in the day we got her and they treated us like they have know us forever like family. They always send emails when my lil lady needs her shots. They are so caring thoughtful and attentive. My favorite thing is how clean they are. I fully recommend them to anyone who has a pet in need of great care!
