Responding especially after I read "a google users" poor review especially mentioning their disappointment after going to the new location. I have just the opposite experience every time I show up I am greeted promptly, even when they are busy. The staff has always been very nice and even though I may see a different doctor on alternating visits each of them has been obviously educated in their field well, and competent. I hear a complaint the place is noisy. Hmm. Well its often a busy place and animals can be noisy, and there is a reason the business has grown, and grown. Its because they are doing a great job all around. I especially like the new clinic, larger, roomier, great decor and the staff keeps it very clean on constant basis. Everytime a dog pees there is a staff member there mop in hand cleaning it up right away. Per pee. I have always been seen in a reasonable amount of time, even when they are very busy. The prices are very reasonable, and I do have knowledge of other area vets fees. I think you guys are doing a great job there, and Boss says hi! ~An edited note~ I work in the medical field myself. People that are complaining about fees maybe shouldnt have pets if they cannot truly afford them. Somehow I cannot fathom that some people seem to think medical care for a pet is cheaper to provide than for a human. Show up at any human ER without insurance and look at the thousands, yes, thousands of dollars the bill will run even if you go home the same day. All Vets have extensive expensive overhead. Employees, Employee insurances, utilities, phones, and then there are medicines and procedural tools that cost huge amounts. Dont think so? Go buy your own X ray machine or a few surgical tools. Or just look it up online as to what the real world prices are. Then think. Premier is no more expensive than any other area Vet, and one local vet I see people want to list here when they are angry at Premier is, Southern, well, there they wanted ECG, pulse ox, IV access to clean my dogs teeth for 410 dollars. And that was years ago. My dog had his teeth cleaned recently at Premier and was ready to go home for under 120. Life has alot of frustrations and when our pets are sick, and its not cheap or free to care for them I think some people act bad and use the online process to vent. For shame. Besides overhead these people have to make a living, each and every one of them, they have bills to pay just like we do. People, before you go online trashing any business, take a few breaths and think. Hey, too bad Bernie isnt going to be the next President......I do believe I heard free vet care was going to be part of his package. Until then, we must pay to have these wonderful creatures accompany us in our lives, and yes it is sometimes expensive, and sometimes the choices are tough. Premier is not charging unreasonable amounts, I can say that for certain. I would like to see Premier grow even bigger. Maybe a Saturday staff and emergency care at night without having to go to Murfreesboro for that, but, that cost money and we all have to pay our part. All the best to Dr. Hatcher and all his staff who overall is really doing a great job. For those of you who know you posted out of anger or at your own financial situations you should really consider being a better person than that and remove your unfair posting. Wont be long someone will come up with the idea that there will be a site where everyone can post on everyone, what would your co-workers, neighbors, your ex, your children have to say? How would you feel if what they posted was out of anger, or for revenge? We all need to feel comfortable with who we see in the mirror. ~Cheers~

I would have rated this lower, but I did appreciate the fact that they had extended hours and were there when we needed them. That being said, I will say the way my situation was handled was very stressful and heartbreaking for myself and my family, I only wish that my regular vet had been a little closer and had extended hours. This past November, we had to have our 20 year old black lab put to sleep. He had been battling cancer for sometime and his last day, his health rapidly declined and we had no choice but to let him go. The only problem was when we found him in his distressed state, it was already 5 in the evening and our vet was closed. My mother uses this vet office and told us the have extended hours, we called them and let them know we were on our way with Sam. When we got there they took us directly to a room and did a quick exam. Then took him off to get his weight and start an IV. When they brought him back to room he was completely sedated, this really upset us. This was a part of his passing process and we needed to be there with him for this part of his transition. Instead, without telling us, the sedated him and then brought him and the bill for the services back to the room where we all waited. We then had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes for them to come back to finish the process of him being euthanized. I waited for a long time before I really spoke on this because I did not want to many of my emotions to play into my words, but after you have a pet with you for so long, it is hard not to be upset. There is nothing they can do to make this right and nothing they can say to make me feel better about what happened. I think the staff needs some training on how to be a little more understanding an sensitive to the emotions and needs of the pet parents. We have lost 4 pets over the past three years, three of them were all with in a 6 month period. We have always been faithful clients of Murphy Road Animal Hospital, and considered moving to this place because it was a little closer. It will never happen. First of all Murphy Road does not charge their pet parents for this final service, in addition the support and understanding of their staff during these situations have gone over and beyond any I have ever seen at any other vets office. I am sure that premier is great place to bring you animals, it is just not for me. My animals are more than pets, they are family and in addition to great care, I want some compassion for my family in hard situations.

Very disappointing. I have taken my pets to Premier for several years now. I have put up with the rude staff for years now because I have always felt the standard of care I received from the vets was fantastic. Now, they have moved into their new location, which is beautiful-although incredibly noisy. I have visited the new location 3 times and have not been greeted or even acknowledged one single time I have come in. I literally stand at the desk until I can get someones attention to check me in. My last visit, I waited patiently behind 2 others they were checking in to have the girl at the desk stand up and walk away when I finally made it to the front. She didnt even say a word to me. Then, I waited nearly an hour (for a follow up visit) with my 9 yr old dog to see a vet Ive never met before-I assumed Id be following up with the same vet I saw the first time. She walked in the room for about 10 seconds and that was that. I will be changing vets. Sorry Dr. Hatcher...I think your office lost its appeal with the "new location". To anyone reading this, please take note that most of the positive reviews of this place will be before they moved.
