Very good with children! Me and my husband both use glasses and our regular optometrist is a bit dry and serious, which is fine for adults but can be intimidating for small children, so when it came time to take my 4 yr old in for his first exam I decided to try someplace new. Im so glad i did because everyone was so friendly, including the dr, that he wasnt the least bit nervous. They were all very patient and reassuring which made the whole process easy. I will definitely continue taking him there and switch my husband and my vision care over to them.

Dr. DeHaven provided good advice and encouragement regarding my need to have cataract surgery. I was reluctant to take that step, but now I am glad that I did (he did not perform the surgery). I had to have numerous exams and prescription changes over the course of about 1 year due to my rapid loss of vision from an aggressive cataract. Dr DeHaven provided unsolicited discounts during this time knowing that my insurance would only cover 1 exam per year. Their kindness and quality service earned a loyal customer in me.
