If only there was a way to give NO STARS :( The Drs. and Nurses are all phenomenal, but their office assistant is so off-putting that (after this past visit) I doubt I will be returning unless/until her rude ass is fired. Healthcare costs a fortune and it is completely unacceptable to pay so much, only to be disrespected by some rando calling herself "office staff", constantly being price-gauged for every little thing, and always having to endure excessive tardiness--at LEAST a 45 min wait with each office visit (but the wait can be as long as over 2 hrs). When I found out that the staff made disparaging comments about patients in the "Notes" section of each individuals patient folder (a place that should be reserved for pertinent medical information), I was incensed! Then I found out who was responsible: that Latina chick (maritza or marissa [sp?]) at the front desk has ZERO customer service skills, a bad attitude, and a shameful lack of understanding for what her job position entails (she is a veritable font of misinformation). The irony is that this front desk person is the least trained/qualified person to be there, and yet she is the most annoying thing you will ever encounter at a medical office. Possibly your entire life.

When my Internist of 30 years retired, I searched for a new physician I could trust who would consider my perspective in providing medical care. After interviewing several physicians that seemed to be in a rush and had no time for questions, I was referred to Dr. Duhaney by my daughter. At my initial visit, Dr. Duhaney reviewed my medical history thoroughly. What made the difference was that he also spent time getting to know me as an individual, listened to my thoughts about my health and answered my questions.I am thankful to have found a physician whose medical care is superb, and who also makes time for personal interaction. I appreciate having the option to see Laura Laurence, Nurse Practitioner as well. The staff is terrific - friendly and upbeat. Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes.I highly recommend Internal Medicine of Addison.

I had went in for a physical and was having leg and back trouble. I was told it was just weight gain. No x-ray or nothing. Was still having pain so much I went to the ER. I had blood clots and was sent to the hospital overnight. I had to come back to Addison family medical and I could not be seen because I didnt have a 95 dollar copay. I have been going to the place since 2010 and they wouldnt even bill me so I can be seen. I need to see a doctor to go back to work but the receptionist didnt even care. This whole thing could have been solved it the lady would have checked me out the first time. She didnt even touch my leg. Now I cant go back to work. I been with them through three doctor changes and to be treated like this! I guess this is how they care for there patients.

Probably the best doctor ever. Helpful, courteous, great follow ups, even reminded me to come in for an allergy test after having to wait almost a year from relocating. While the comments of how rude the office staff is are somewhat accurate, I have been there before when they are nice. Theyve always been very helpful to me, but unfortunately helpful and nice are not synonyms. Regardless, I cant let someone who is not in charge of my healthcare put me off of the person who is.

By far, the best doctor I have ever had the experience of visiting. Extremely helpful and willing to sit and listen to what you have to say. He is not like other doctors that come in and shrug their shoulders and throw a RX at you then tell you to get out. He actually cares and this is a rare trait in doctors these days. If you are just surviving he is not happy with that. He wants you to be thriving. I cant express how great this young man is. Dr. Duhaney is top notch.

The staff was great, friendly, professional. Dr. Duhaney was very warm and personable. I personally dont like going to the doctors office, but this was very pleasant. I went for my annual physical and i may not have out if off so long had I known it could be this easy.
