A month ago I scheduled an annual physical with Dr. Swaldi. When I booked I was told that Dr. Swaldi was too busy and so I would need to get the physical from a nurse practitioner. Not ideal, but OK. When I arrived, I was sent into a room where a woman with the touch of a carpenter hammered a needle into my arm to take blood. I had bruises for a week. Next I was whisked in to meet with Carol, the nurse practitioner. Nice enough, but as a male over 40, I expected a more thorough inspection than getting my blood pressure, pulse and weight. As I walked out, I had the pleasure of watching the receptionist rudely and coldly tell some poor old woman that the wont see her because they dont take new Medicare patients. Ouch. Four weeks later and I still dont have the blood results and cant get anyone to answer my requests for the results. Cant imagine what I can expect if I really had an issue. Wont be back.

Dr. Swaldi has been our family doctor for 10 years, and thank heavens for that. He has helped with everything from routine illnesses to more challenging situations that also involve management from specialists. He is highly trained, easy to talk to and my kids, now approaching adulthood, know him as an important resource. My college aged daughter still comes home to get her medical care from Dr. Swaldi, even though her university has a renowned medical center. It is always easy to get an appointment, the staff are wonderful, and the lab person (whom I believe is a separate company) is always great. It doesnt get better than this.

I have been going to Dr. Swaldi for about 1 year now and could not be more pleased. Whether I see him or any of his medical staff , I always have my needs/concerns addressed promptly and compassionately. The front staff is very courteous and helps me with all my insurance issues without any hassles at all. The facility is immaculate. All of their recommendations are reasonable and well explained. If you are looking for a medical practice to take the time to sit down and listen to your health concerns then I would highly recommend Dr. Steven Swaldis medical practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Swaldi for over 20 years. I followed him through various group practices until he finally established his own independent practice, Old Town Family Practice. He is a very good physician and caring, helpful person. I dont feel rushed or that I am bothering him when I ask questions. He really has that old time family doctor touch and compassion, combined with modern, sophisticated clinical care. I like him and his office and think that they are the best around in the Coppell-Grapevine area.

Dr. Swaldi is my sons primary care, as well as he primary care for my husband. I cannot say enough about the way he has taken care of them over the years. He has even called us after hours to talk through some issues. My husband just went through surgery, and Dr. Swaldi called him prior to it to make sure he was ok and to see if he had any questions. He is a phenomenal Doctor!!

DrSwaldi is helpful & caring. Office staff? Not so much. Husband had very painful poison ivy. Needed some intervention to get some prescription switched over to a place that actually had the cream that would help after 24 hours… Office staff couldnt be bothered to help. What good is a wonderful doctor if the gatekeepers wont help?

Dr. Swaldi is the best family physician anyone could ask for! Dr. Swaldi and staff have taken excellent care of my family for over 15 years. He genuinely cares about patients and is a great listener and practitioner. Its a blessing and huge asset to Coppell. Dr. Swaldi volunteers many nights as the physician for Coppell schools.
